this is a lovely park up with plenty of space but unfortunately due to the time of year, it's crawling with ticks. We stopped for some lunch but decided to move on after we noticed ticks crawling on the dogs head and neck. Probably ok if you're without dogs but just keep an eye on your skin. would come back at a different time of year.
Arrived in the dark and didn't realise there is a house across the river until we turned our inside lights out for the night and the house owner shone a torch at us. Was an okay stop over for a night but lots of cars passing in the morning and one beeped as it went past making us feel a little unwelcome. But a nice spot by the river and pub is 5 mins walk
