Erg vriendelijk ontvangen, als we wat eten of drinken mogen we blijven staan met onze slaapauto. Wel even wachten voordat er een tafel vrij is, maar natuurlijk geen probleem omdat we zonder reservering kwamen.Gezellige drukte op een woensdagavond.
stopped for an unplanned night, owner found us a table for food and beer. lucked out as a singer arrived 30mins later. A good, friendly atmosphere in the pub.
As others have said, very friendly owners. Call ahead to book. We ate and drank at the pub. We cycled down to the sea, glad we didn't take the van as its very crowded and steep. Long cycle back up the hill. Good selection of food and a Londis across the road.
Lovely locals who arranged for cars to be shifted so we could park up in allocated Motorhome park. Nice beer garden. Chocks required
Great stop over for Newquay. Very helpful and welcoming. Get a drink or food if you want to stay over. We walked to Newquay, (2 miles downhill), then got the bus back as it's all uphill. Toilets available when pub is open. Highlight was seeing dolphins in the bay! Call ahead to be sure of a spot as they only accommodate 2 vans.
Stayed Saturday and Sunday, luckily for use there was some great entertainment Saturday night, friendly staff and a couple of peaceful nights, what more could you want. We had a few drinks, ok more than a few :-) but didn't eat but from what we saw the food looked very appetising. Apart from the pub toilets I didn't notice any other facilities. So you really need to be self-contained.
Just came back from here. stayed for 2 nights. It was free to stay as long as you bought drinks or food. We did ring before hand to see if there was space for us. Lovely pub and garden. Dog friendly. Lush food. Friendly landlords and bar staff. Not far from New Quay itself. Lovely part of Wales.
When you give them a call they will keep a spot to park. Very friendly people. Food is superbe and not expensive. We hesitated to stay another day because of all the nice people in the pub, compliments.
stayed here for a night, landlord very welcoming. they don't do food on a Monday so went in and had a drink and played a game of pool. little shop close by if needed. menu in pub looked good.
The landlord is so friendly and welcoming!! As said before there is refurbishment going on. We had a few drinks but no food. Very easy to park, landlord said he would ask other patrons ti move their vehicles for us if there wasn’t any room in the car park.
What a lovely pub, I visited early November and although the pub was quiet the locals all made we very welcome and invited me to sit by the fire with them. The pub has recently been bought by a new landlord who is investing in upgrading the facilities. I will certainly be back if I am in the area - a real locals pub.
Muy buena comida y buen trato. Puedes pernoctar en el parking a cambio de cenar allí. Tienen un pequeño sitio de picnic en el que puedes estar, muy agradable.
Accueil très chaleureux ! Propriétaire très gentil, pas de problème pour passer la nuit sur le parking si vous consommez au pub. Attention, parking penché, impossible d'être droit peu importe votre place.
Etwas unebener Parkplatz aus Schotter Erde Gemisch. Wirklich toller Pub wo man gut Essen und Trinken kann. Zu Fuß mit dem Hund ca. 50 min bis nach New Quay. Donnerstag ist Quiz Abend.
brilliant find. friendly pub & dogs welcome. large car park at rear of pub. staying over no issue had a few beers in pub and used toilets. this time of year pub open 4-9 didn't do food but maybe because a Thursday. shop over the road only open until 6pm
Great place to park, very useful, nice walk into new quay itself (40mins) caught the bus back. Pub was open 4-8 (30/08/23).
Pub definitely open. Times vary. At the moment food is served from 4 to 8pm. Friendly pub and locals. They doted on our dogs.
fhe pub opens at 12 and closes at 5pm, they serve food 3-5. let us stay in the carpark no problem. Nice quiet place.
The pub sadly isn’t open anymore (16.05.23) car park is still open.

small car park, slightly sloping but lovely pub and fantastic food and welcoming staff. recommended to phone ahead as its quite a small car park if pub is busy.
Phoned ahead to make sure it was okay to stay the night if we bought a drink. The lady was lovely and said it was no problem. Turned up at 8.15pm, bought a drink and had a couple of games of pool (£1). Pub closed at 9pm Wed night. There were a couple of locals in there who asked where we were from, very pleasant. No other motor homes stayed. A very peaceful, quiet night.
