Plenty of parking spaces, but car park was busy during opening hours. Car park is not level, so chocs may be needed. Parking was free if using the bar and restaurant. This is a very popular pub! Quiet overnight once pub had closed. Lovely riverside seating and dining area in pub. Good choice of food on menu and portions were a good size. Reasonably priced too. Nice place to stop.

Great pub stop, £15 if you eat at the pub then £15 is deducted from your food bill. The car park is quite sloped, but not too bad once leveling blocks in place. Wonderful quiet location next to the river.

Parked up and ate in the pub. Staff were very friendly and service was swift even though it was quite busy. Quiet at night. Lovely walk along river and very close to Blists Hill and Tile Museum. Walking distance to 3 more pubs- what’s not to like.

Great location, friendly staff, a nice pint with a lovely view of the river. There is a large outdoor seating area, so its a very popular pub. This means the car park can be busy. There is a charge for the night but the voucher can be redeemed on meals. The car park isn't flat so you will need your ramps!

Absolutely amazing spot. What a great place to stay the night. Just pay £15 for the night and get given a voucher to spend in the bar. Certainly recommend this lovely place. Great spot and Ironbridge is a lovely village

Lovely pub in a perfect location. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We sat by the river with our drinks, we didn't buy food as had our meal already with us. Toilets are really clean. The gate wasn't locked overnight, but we felt very safe here. We were able to stay in the car park when we walked into Ironbridge, there was no pressure to leave early. We'd definitely come back.

Very friendly pub staff and although we didn’t eat in the pub we managed to spend our £15 voucher on drinks and spent a very peaceful night in the spacious car park.

Beautiful spot. Lovely views of the river, half hour walk to bridge and village. Parked at the back with zero noise.

Here tonight..Arrived at 5pm, got a voucher at the bar for 15 quid which they take off your food and drinks bill. Nice secure stopover albeit with a bit of a slope so will only have 4 pints. MOT at Dave Newell leisure vehicles in the morning.

Excellent stopover with walking access to some of the museum sites. Large carpark , plenty of space , very peaceful night. Check in and give registration at pub. Toilets can be used until pub closes and then from early morning when cleaners get in. Pay £15 on arrival and given a voucher towards drinks/ food . We can leave van during day whilst we explore on foot

Ruhiger Platz direkt am Severn. Sehr gutes Essen und nettes Personal. Wanderungen und Radtouren ab hier gut möglich. Telford schön für Shopping.

This is a great and popular park up (lots of other campers there). £15 deposit deducted when spent at the bar. Unfortunately they stopped food early which meant we couldn’t use the £15 on food which put a dampener on our stay as we planned on eating there. But otherwise a great spot with great views.

beautiful outlook over the river Severn, nice and quiet once the pub has emptied but no noisey revellers and everyone was so friendly. Great base for Walsall and Ironbridge, we are going to Blists Hill victoriana museum, again within walking distance. We will be back, thank you.

Beautiful location. Yes car park is sloping but manageable. A £15 charge per night redeemable against food or drink. Short walk into town. Would definitely stay again.

Great pub and location easy walk into Ironbridge or along the river and canal lots of museums craft centre within a few hundred metres one of the owners came and had a chat with us in the morning very friendly will be stopping there on her way home from Anglesey

Very nice pub with welcoming staff. Stayed on a Tuesday night with rain showers from time to time so the pub didn't get too busy and we were able to park on a relatively flat part of the carpark. I can imagine this pub gets very busy at the weekend! Added to my favourites list and to my small number of 5★ reviews

Lovely spot well away from main roads. £15 to stay which can be redeemed against food or drink. carpark was very busy when we arrived on a bank holiday Sunday but cleared out and wasn't noisy overnight. the car park is quite sloped, even with ramps we were not level, though it was manageable.

Found this little gem on this app. As others have said , £15 voucher to stay that you can spend in the restaurant. Great location. Extremely friendly staff. Just wish there were more places like this! Fantastic!

Great place; lovely staff & good menu/ beers etc. Next to River Severn & handy to stay & see Ironbridge museums. Most museums within half hours walk (max). Parking is sloped, but with levellers, no great problem.

Stayed for one night. Called in to ask if it was ok and they said yes as long as we parked in the top corner of the carpark. Ordered drinks but had at look at the menu and ended up eating there too although drinks were sufficient to stay. Menu had plenty to choose from at reasonable prices and was very tasty. Highly recommend. No services and toilet only when pub open. Car park a little sloped but managed to level mh. Lovely spot next to the river.

Ein sehr guter Platz für eine Nacht. Der Besitzer des Pubs ist sehr hilfreich und überaus freundlich. 15£ werden bei Ankunft hinterlegt und dann mit dem Verzehr im Pub verrechnet.

Sent message through Facebook and advised we were welcome on a first-come first-served basis. Arrived early afternoon to a large empty, sloping car park well off main road (some narrowish roads on the way in, no problem in our 2.2m wide, 6m long van). Bought £15 voucher and used it for a frankly enormous, delicious evening meal which cost £40 inc tip. Walked 1 mile to Ironbridge, slept well.

Absolutely perfect will definitely be returning. Very peaceful, right by the river, dog friendly, lovely food, lovely staff. So good we stayed the following night too!!Definitely be returning

Very nice setting on the bank of the river Severn. Good size gravel car park, slight slope, but no trouble. If you speak to the bar staff you can receive a £15 camper van voucher which you can exchange against food in their restaurant, they then take down your registration and contact details. One of the other vans mentioned there was an outside water tap which they are happy for you to use.

Stayed here last night, there’s a space for 8 campers so ring in advance. Cocktails are great and the view over the river is stunning.

Well deserved 5 out of 5. great location and the pizzas are massive and tasty,. you book in and pay £15 for a voucher you use against your tab will revisit.

Wonderful place, friendly staff and good food!!! Definitely come back, happy for rv’s to stay free if you eat at pub . Also do cooked breakfasts for residents or if you stay in a car park, advised to book a table as getting popular

29-01-2022 stopped here this afternoon in our Motorhome lovey looking place. Very nice & peaceful. Going back to stop the night in the next few weeks

Just amazing…. Added some pictures of our T5 in the huge car park…. Doors almost onto the Severn. Food great! Free to stay after our food and drink. Amazing iron bridge just 1 mile away and a 30 minute or so walk……100% returning.

Telephoned ahead and booked table to eat. Large car park which we had to ourselves overnight . Will be busy in summer.

Great find. Called ahead. Very happy for campervan to stay in the large carpark. Need to call ahead. Fantastic food, will need to book ahead since very popular. Great walk into Ironbridge. Would be a fantastic place in the Summer. We loved the autumn trees though. Dog walk within a few minutes.

Had a meal and a few beers. Walked along the river and came back fir another beer. Stayed the night after asking if it is ok. Really friendly with nothing being a problem. Great stop over.

Phoned first to check if it would be okay to stay the night, arrived 8:45pm had dinner which was lovely. Dog friendly and was a few other vans parked there for the night. Very nice area and walks around. Car park is on a slope but wasn't a problem for us, had a great nights sleep.

Gorgeous pub, generous food and beautiful place! Very welcoming to stay over night as long as you buy a meal which I definitely recommend, their pizzas are huge!

Great location for a stopover on our way to Barmouth, lovely views & peaceful sleep. Good food, cold beer, friendly staff & clean environment what more do you need. One of the gentleman who owns the pub is a really lovely man, friendly & very helpful & let us have some water for our MH ... very much appreciated. Levels are definitely needed as the carpark is on a slope.

Exceptional place to stay right on a beautiful river - staff at the pub are very accommodating and food was very good! They even arranged breakfast for us. Lots of space in car park and very quiet. Would definitely return to this spot again!

We're here right now, nice meal and drinks, staff super friendly. We rang before arrival. No bother whatsoever. But you need ramps/levellers.

Perfect spot to stroll into Ironbridge and surrounds. We arrived on a Tuesday, but found the pub shuts on Mon & Tues. Pub manager still allowed us to stay. Very quiet overnight.

I can see why the positive reviews for this piece of heaven! idyllic scenery right next to the river. the car park is not flat so bring leveling chucks. the last few miles are narrow roads but not too challenging. the pub is fantastic serving the most delicious meals. we've enjoyed every minute of our stay here. car park almost empty by 9.30pm. very little traffic. definitely be coming back!!

We was around the area looking at different spots. The comments below really are what made us come to the half moon pub and park. Fantastic place and great location. Pub owner was lovely no issues for a stealth camp in the car. As some one said in the comments below about being a top 10 spot, I have to agree it’s now me and my partners top 10 spot at number 1. Stayed in the Halfmoon pub car park this weekend. We had a meal and a drink and they were happy to let us stay overnight. The car park is in a nice quiet location, right on the river, no disturbances in the night

Absolutely brillant spot defernatly in our top ten. Do not forget leveling ramps car park slopes a little. Food absolutely amazing and situated in lovely accessible spot. we are going back but make sure your hungry the portions in the pub are very generous. Thank you.

An absolute gem of a spot. Right on the river. Food excellent and staff super helpful. They have a sister pub along the river - not for parking up at but a beautiful walk down there and across the river. Can not fault the place. No facilities other than parking up but the pub is lovely - and reasonably priced. Food was delicious! Highly recommended
