If you read the sign it says no camping no cooking so basically it's useless
Le parking du centre de loisirs Quays à Southampton. Le conseil recommande cet endroit aux campeurs pour se garer pendant la nuit sur leur site Web. Bon pour une nuit avant de prendre le ferry de l'île de Wight. Très calme compte tenu de la proximité de la ville et du port.
The car park for the Quays leisure centre in Southampton. The council recommend this place for campers to park up overnight on their website. Good for an overnighter before catching the Isle Of Wight Ferry. Very quiet considering how close to the city and port it is.
Der Parkplatz für das Freizeitzentrum Quays in Southampton. Der Gemeinderat empfiehlt diesen Ort für Camper, auf ihrer Website über Nacht zu parken. Gut für eine Übernachtung, bevor Sie die Isle Of Wight-Fähre nehmen. Sehr ruhig, wenn man bedenkt, wie nahe die Stadt und der Hafen sind.

TheBradders15/06/2025I had my reservations when I pulled up here at 20:00. The car park was full (Saturday night) and it looked really busy. The parking attendants were spot on though and it was quiet throughout the night once everyone left. I did see a rat in the neighbouring hotel car park scurrying about but with all the crap left on the floor, it’s inevitable. Very close to town centre. Ideal for stopover for ferry.

Sorry for the low score because the car park was good, the parking attendants were very helpful (thank you) and the location to shops, bars, eateries & cinema was great, but I feel that we should warn fellow motorhomers that we were unable to sleep, because from eight o'clock all through the night we could hear a ship in the port running what sounded like a turbine, not good

Tagsüber schwierig, gegen Abend lässt der Parkdruck nach. Laut Parkwächtern ist Übernachten an sich nicht gestattet, das wird aber nicht kontrolliert. Kostenpflichtig bis 24 Uhr und wieder ab 8 Uhr. Auf keinen Fall die großen, gelb markierten Behindertenplätze nehmen! Ratten.
travelingwoods12/07/2024definitely a 5 star location. handy for the quays .the leisure centre for showers and (swim) fabulous staff in the leisure centre. 3 mins walk to wetherspoons. very quiet even though it's busy . plenty of security cameras. bins and benches. 2 mins drive from ferry

This car park seemed ok until around 10pm when we noticed a pair going round checking vehicles. Around 11 pm they were trying the doors on our van and fiddling with our bikes on the bike rack. My wife shouted at them and they moved to the side of the van but not away from it. Because they were so brazen we didn’t feel safe and moved on. Would not recommend unfortunately as it’s only £2 overnight.

5pm, stopping for the night, Perfect spot. Going to Isle of Wight in the morning. Dead quiet, loads to see and do all within a short walk..would highly recommend !

Hier kann man nur mit viel Glück einen Platz bekommen. 3 Stunden 4 Pfund. Ich würde es nicht nochmal versuchen.

Good little place. Be careful, though, because there's a short stay parking right next to it and we ended up stopping in the wrong one for 4 hours before I realised ha ha. Quiet, cheap, and can easily access the city centre. Definitely good enough for a few nights parked up.

Unfortunately we didn't experience the same evening as others was very noisy must have a clubs or bars that shut around 4 am as alot loud people around on a Friday night but hey we were all young once ! on plus side great spot for early morning ferry being a snones throw down the road !

Great place to park and stay over night. Right in the centre of the town and shopping centres. Need to shower.. you could goto the swimming pool which is right beside the car park. Lots of places to eat just a short walk away. Highly recommended.

Very close to ferry terminal. Large car park apart from torrential rain it was very quiet. worth£2! Put address in manually post code not quite correct.

Highly recommend, we stayed here overnight no problem! Central to ferry port and places to eat in Southampton. Lovely nights sleep and the parking is free until 25th August which was a little bonus
