Traditional rural campsite which is what we like. Slightly uneven pitch requiring chocks. Friendly owner, we arrived without booking which was no problem. We found the shower facilities a little unclean and the women's shower door seems permanently wedged open so not very private. But good area for washing up.
Camping zelf heeft mooie plekken, niet allemaal even recht. Sanitair kan beter, en vooral schooner. Wel fijn dat je hier geen douchemuntjes of iets hoeft te betalen zoals in de meeste gevallen in Ierland. Ook de afwas gelegenheid was zeer fijn.
Prima camping, maar £32 zonder elektriciteit wel aan de dure kant. Douches en toiletten zijn prima. Hele aardige eigenaresse, die goede tips kan geven over de omgeving.

Highly recommend. Family-operated campsite located on idyllic horse farm with beautiful views. Very well-appointed with spacious, even pitches, electricity hook-ups, hot showers, clean toilets, playground for the kids, and facilities for black water, grey water, and washing dishes. Coin-operated laundry available at a nearby petrol station. On-site cottages also available for rent. And to top it all off, the host family is so very friendly and accommodating, even with two young children who were delightful and well-behaved playmates for our young children.
Lovely lovely owner. Beautiful spot in the countryside just outside Portrush. The site was the only one around open before mid March and glad it was. The others are always crowded and noisy. Maddybenny was quiet, rural and with all the facilities of a normal campsite, clean toilets and not crammed on top of each other either. Brilliant!
Fantastic stay. Was £25 per night (without electricity) and included hot showers and clean toilets. Lovely owner who is very helpful. Great quiet spot with views and farm animals a plenty! Short drive to Portrush town. But a long walk without driving. Would definitely stay again!

Der Platz ist ordentlich und sauber, Personal und Chefin sehr freundlich. Der Preis hat sich allerdings deutlich erhöht und ist nicht mehr wie angegeben. Aktuell 30£ ohne und 33£ mit Strom. Es ist ansonsten alles mit bei. Dusche, Schwarzwasser Entsorgung und "der Weckdienst" von einem Pfau ;-)
This is quite a nice little site just a couple of miles outside Portrush. It is, however, much more expensive than stated. £33 for a night with EHU.

Great campsite. Easy to book and communicate with owner. Family friendly. Quiet at night. Electricity is actually £4 per night.
