If you are looking for a place to stay without a van this is the place! Lovely yard and hangout area, rooms or mauretanian tents on the rooftop are available, clean and Prices are fair. food is expensive so better cook yourself or eat in the city
Very nice looking spot and I've heard good things about it from other backpackers. However when we got there they said they don't take motorhomes/vans anymore. There's a place down the road called Auberge Camping Africa Escale which takes motorhomes. Has a shower block and electric hookup.
Le 23 janvier . Calme pour Nouakchott, cette auberge ouverte depuis peu aménage la partie bivouac. Bon accueil de Sébastien et Raynald. Le premier passionné de couture a refait pour un prix modique les coussins de la cellule, le second est de bon conseil pour les achats. Dommage que quelques indélicats laissent leurs chiens souiller les lieux. Attention largeur du portail 2,25 m. Bonne restauration brochettes de chameau, tarte Tatin. Auberge à l'ambiance décontractée où nous reviendrons.
