Waldparkplatz und Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Keine Sitzgruppe, kein Mülleimer, keine Aussicht, wenig Licht. Als Tagesparkplatz für eine Wanderung gebührenfrei. Warum man hier für 10£ übernachten sollte erschließt sich mir allerdings nicht. Danke für NICHTS! P.S. Zufahrt ist auch noch grausam. -Leave no trace except your footprints-

Quite stop-off in a busy area. Lovely walks and drive in also stunning. Now £10 a night though

  • 5/5

Lovely and quiet, so can't ask for more for only £7. Good signal for EE.

Very nice and quiet location. My wife is always worried that someone will disturb us at night, so a payed parking spot that allows staying overnight is worth every penny. We are here at the end of November with all the campgrounds closed. Really enjoyed it. We are using Star-link, but because of all the trees internet was not good.

£7 to be paid after 6pm. Lasts until 10am Not far from Kenmore, within walking distance. The road is quite steep to get up. There was 4 other vans while we stayed. We dis not let the dog off her lead and she still got 6 ticks on one short walk.

  • 4/5

TICKS!!! Lovely spot, super quiet but be wary of ticks. We didn’t let the dog in / on the grass and still took 7 off of her. £7 pn. Sign says no car camping / tents of any kind but there were 2 car campers and nobody came round. Only 4 vehicles there. Great spot but check for ticks.

Prachtige plek aan de rand van het bos met buiten Kenmore. Het dorpje stelt niks voor, maar de omgeving is prachtig. Heerlijk geslapen!

Really nice location. No ticks just a few dog walkers early evening and in the morning. As an alternative to the forest walks. Walk go down to the village and immediately before the bridge traffic lights and turn left. There is a super walk along the banks of the river. You can walk for miles. The village has Public toilets and bins. I didn’t see any waste disposal or water, but I wasn’t looking

So many ticks !!! don't let your dogs in the grass we removed 20 after she just brushed it. Also quite muddy surface. Other than that, its a good spot very quiet.

Best Night Ever. Did not experience any flees and saw a red squirrel . Lovely and quiet and 5 minute walk to restaurant and shop. . There is a path just at the gates to the walk that takes a short cut to the village. Went up Drummond Hill. Lovey walk and not go far. Nice view over Loch Tay.

    Great spot for a rest

Great car park and nice walks but BEWARE of the ticks and fleas. We have been all around Scotland but this is by far the worst we have seen. We are talking about 30 ticks in 24 hours, half of which were just in the car park! There also seems to be an abundance of fleas.. so after an hour sweeping the whole van out and inspecting our furry friend, we think we would give this a miss next time!

Lovely quiet night. £7 for the stay 6pm-10am payable on app. Very nice walks up through forest and a short stroll down to loch.

  • 5/5

Loved this place - so quiet at night, and during the day in winter only a few cars arrived in the morning. Good walks nearby, up to the viewpoint and into Kenmore and around Loch Tay. Level(ish) spots - we just needed one leveller on the right front side during the night. Proper bargain for 7.40 through the Ringo app - thanks to Forestry Scotland for this Winter stay the night spot!

  • 5/5

This is an excellent place to stay it was very quiet after 7 pm. We walked down into Kenmore which took less than 10 minutes there was a choice of places to eat and have a drink. The carpark itself is set up from the road and you are not disturbed by car lights or noise. No facilities but only £7 for the night. We will definitely return again.

  • 4/5

Overnight stays are welcomed for a small fee of £7. Sheltered spot surrounded by forest. 10 min walk to Kenmore and the car park is at the start of a 1.5 mile forest walk up to a viewpoint over the loch. Can pay for overnight stay using app

  • 5/5

start of some lovely walks. really accessible but quiet. busy in day with dog walkers. no facilities. leave no trace please.

  • 4/5

Hier darf offiziell mit bis zu 4 Campern für eine Gebühr von 7£ übernachtet werden. Foto beigefügt. Wir haben nicht hier geschlafen, weil wir schon einen Platz auf einem Camping gebucht hatten.

  • 5/5

The area in the Drummond Hill car park is excellent.

  • 4/5

A nice spot part of the Stay the night scheme.

  • 3/5

Not too bad. There is a sign that says no overnight parking

  • 1/5

Warning!! No overnight parking/sleeping in vehicles signs now places at entrance

  • 4/5

Great spot. Especially for walks around Drummond Hill. But as we sat there yesterday a couple of Scottish Forestry guys came along and put in two signs saying ‘sorry, but this is not an overnight camping spot’. So....
