really lovely spot. love the sheep taking shelter from the sun next to the vans. great views and plenty of space. we didn't stay, however, because there were 2 large groups of men, one group of 9 and another group of 6. they were all very wary of us and didn't look like your typical hikers or vanlifers. they were clearly there to hustle sheep. we felt uncomfortable and sad. regards to the farmer
Great place and great view. Lots of campers here. Park for free overnight!
I usually stay up here in my campervan. I had heard that the farmer wasn't happy with the mess being left by inconsiderate people and was causing damage to vehicles. last night I stayed and at approximately 3am a rock was thrown through my window and a car drove off. another person in another van had their entire side panel keyed. it's a shame that it has been ruined by a few but I won't risk it.
Decent spot, fairly flat, nice views, incredibly cheap £3 or free when the owner doesn't come round to collect. The sheep arnt shy and will nudge your vehicle.

Often a nice spot, but today there were dairy cows in the field that were doing damage to parked vehicles. I've ended up with an entire panel crushed inwards. Perhaps not uncommon as the farmer's sign says no responsibility for damage.
didnt stay here but did a driveby when considering staying. its a big field next to a single track lane - parking all day sign - doesn't mention anything about over night but there's loads of room and could be very tranquail at night.
This carpark also excepts overnight camping. farmer came round £10 overnight. fantastic spot next to a river.
Great place spent the day at side of the river in my custom camper and people were fishing if of interest to others, no signs saying you can't stay night but definitely recommend for the views and scenery and great walks up the hills too
