Great park up with fabulous views over the estuary. Very quiet night here at what is a very interesting site. They must be the quietest trains I've ever heard. Do they have rubber wheels!!!

Sehr guter Platz - tolle Lage! Schätze aber bald nicht mehr zugänglich. Eine Einwohnerin meinte, man könne „noch“ hier stehen. Als wir gegen 11 Uhr ankamen, standen nur 2 Pkw hier.

Schöner Platz, bei uns waren ein Wohnmobil (wir) und vier Vans da. ( 13.6.). Es war zwar regnerisch, aber die Hundespazierer kamen trotzdem, hatten so auch noch genug Parkplatz. Mehr Platz sollte wirklich nicht belegt werden. Wenn es hier voll ist, ist der Ortsparkplatz eine gute Alternative.

the person who said space for 10 vans clearly doesnt account for lpcal people., it's a car park where local people walk dogs and can't park here themselves. my friend told me there were 13 vans recently. let's be responsible. If there are more than 4 vans, this car park can take a couple of vans allowing for dog walkers. this is local, and there has been talk of stopping this with height barriers

Absolutely perfect spot. Enough for about 10 campers, great views. Trains do go past but stop at about 11pm. Lovely walks around, and another car park around the back if this one is too full. Police came and did a drive by while we were here, but said nothing and we were left alone all night. 100% recommend.

Wow! A fantastic place to overnight. Stunning scenery, plenty of picnic benches to enjoy the sunset and joined by many fellow P4Ners! A sound night's sleep.

Lovely spot! Clean and safe. With several other vans but plenty of space. Lovely views across the estuary. Husband says there was a lot of plane noise in the night, but I didn’t hear it!

Lovely spot, quiet night although woken by a machine behind a hedge. Great views of the quay and close to Kidwelly castle which must not be missed. Perfect place for walking your dogs. Bin on site. Very pretty.

Great spot! If there’s space, you can choose to park at the front with the view or hidden away in between bushes. A few other campers staying, some arrived late and left early. Spoke to a local man and he’s staying a while at this spot, everyone is welcome! Great sunset!

Please do not park overnight in the riverfront area, use the car park to the rear! Take a left at the fork NOT a right. I live locally, if this area continues to be filled with vans, height restriction will go in. The town has provided free overnight, unrestricted parking to the rear, we have an Aire in town, we welcome you but attitudes can change should the Michael start being taken.

Lovely spot. I did 3 nights as I was waiting for Amazon deliveries. I may have looked a long term resident. I would suggest not taking up a 2 berth spot by badly parking as it is well used by residents. Also not on the disabled spots near the river.

A great little spot but it will soon be stopped due to campers pitching up and stopping for long periods. There were 8 campervans there and 3 looked like they had been there for a very long time.

Good spot for one night. Little cafe nearby (church), Kidwelly Castle is well worth a visit, too.

Lovely little parking area. Very quiet. Some nice picnic spots with lovely views. Would probably fit 5 or 6 vans in. I was lucky and managed to get a spot. Quite busy in the daytime with locals walking their dogs and cyclist's.

Brilliant spot. Quiet, friendly locals, picnic area, access to wales coastal path. 15 min walk into town to the castle.

Prachtige, schone plek, rustige plek. Mooie plaatsen, geen voorzieningen, maar je kunt je voorbereiden. Mooie fiets- en wandelroute over het Wales Coast Pad.

wunderschöner Ort, sehr gepflegter Park mit vielen Picknicktischen, Abfalleimern und Wanderwegen. Bbeliebt bei der lokalen Bevölkerung. Bitte nehmt so wenig Platz wie möglich ein!! Sonst wird auch dieser tolle Ort bald mit einem Übernachtungsverbot versehen und man muss auf den Stellplatz zwischen den Häusern. Im Moment parkt einer grad über zwei Pp quer und ein weiterer auf dem Behindertenpp.

Easy place to stay if you find yourself here and felt like safer/peaceful spot than nearby Burry Port/Llanelli which we had tried before coming across this place. Nice walks and views. There's not a lot in the town though & most pubs closed on different days so come prepared!

really pretty park up. arrived late Sunday night and still found space to park up. there was 5 large motorhomes in all ready. really pretty, very peaceful, will definitely return.

A super nice spot by the sea, end of a narrow road but fine with my medium size van. There's space for about 15 or so vehicles in a few bays separated by bush. Went over Easter bank hols and there were 4 other campers so not busy at all. It's quiet except for a train or two passing by but not too bad. 02 had reception here. There are bins, no toilets.

Beautiful spot with plenty of room, despite being a popular place for walkers & bird watchers. Peaceful night. Great walks. Bin available.

Lovely spot. Out of the way. Not a very big parking area but about 5 bays each for 2 or 3 cars. Lots of bins. Managed to get 2bars 4G on EE which was good enough. Expect dog walkers, but all very friendly.

Great place, plenty of room, other vans around so felt safe and lovely views over the quay! Will definitely be coming back

Found it last night ! Great park up on the old harbour. Plenty of room , though it was a little busy in the morning with walkers.

kostenloser ruhiger Parkplatz für overnight am alten Kanal. Die Bahnstrecke im Hintergrund hört man zwar, uns hat es nicht gestört. Bitte kein Campingverhalten und Müll wieder mitnehmen.

Pasamos una noche muy tranquila. Se puede ver el atardecer perfectamente desde allí. Hay unas vistas muy bonitas. Suelo nivelado y duro, con asfalto.NO hay límite de altura. Todo bien, pasa cerca un tren pero por la noche deja de pasar.

Fijne plek. Rustige nacht. Leuke korte wandeling met mooi uitzicht. Wij stonden er met 5 andere campers. Alsjeblieft parkeer zo dat de locals hun auto nog kwijt kunnen anders is deze plek binnen no time niet meer toegestaan.

Super Platz! Nachts sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Morgens ab 7 Uhr Anwohner mit Hunden.

Nuit très tranquille, super endroit au bord de l’eau. Les lumières du train qui passe au loin sont magiques. Je recommande

Lovely spot, 2nd visit for us but unfortunately after chatting to a friendly local motorhome owner we were shown a sign saying a new height barrier is due to be installed in the spring of 2023 to specifically stop Campervan and motorhome access. The reason given was that a person had emptied thief chemical toilet twice on the site. Once in a litter bin and secondly straight into the tidal estuary.

A great place hidden away down by the estuary. Parking for 10 or so vans, although we were the only ones there last night. Loads of picnic benches dotted about. A quiet pub two minutes walk back up the road by the train line. I’m sure there were trains but barely heard them once inside the van. Dog walkers around from about 7 but all friendly. Toilets in town still locked at 10am on Saturday

Netter und geschützter Platz für eine Nacht. Wie überall kommen Locals zur Hunderunde, dennoch ist es sehr ruhig. Die Zuggeräusche halten sich doch arg in Grenzen, einen haben wir gehört.....

We stayed here last night after a day wandering around the castle and farmers market . No trains running last night as they were on strike so a very quiet and peaceful stop over . Did a bit of lure fishing this morning with my granddaughter and had a lovely walk around the marshes . Great car park for a night stopover would definitely use again .

Wunderschöner Platz für eine Nacht. Standen dort mit ein paar anderen Campern. Sehr ruhig und empfehlenswert. Toiletten wenige Autominuten entfernt Station Rd Ecke Bridge Street. Freies Wlan im Ort.

Belle vue, très calme,de beaux espaces et un beau coucher de soleil dans la baie.

Very lovely spot with a fantastic view over the bay. Nice park with lots of picnic banks and tables. Lots of locals are coming around to have a walk with their dogs.

Pitched a roof up tent, lovely and quiet location. Trainline quite near but not very regular. Can be busy with other campers.

Great place to park, about 10 spaces available. Gets fairly busy with dog walkers and such but quiet at night (we were the only ones there) and free.

Excellent stop over. Arrived late afternoon. Very quite, occasional faint train in distance. Flat pitch, only ones there at night.

I stopped here for one night and really enjoyed it. Quiet with a large grassed picnic area complete with tables. There are the remains of the old docks and in the village a 13th Centuary Norman castle well worth a visit. Note the river estuary is tidal and when the tide is out the mud flats are extensive. DON'T try walking on them. Whilst I was there a man got stuck in the mud and had to be recused by helicopter!!

beautiful spot, arrived in time to see the sun set. stayed over on a saturday, a lot of dog walkers on the sunday morn. one other van arrived in the evening. it was a bit windy but there are spaces less exposed however it was creating a noise in the wasteland beside… must’ve been hitting off something.

Pretty spot with a great chippy up the road in Kidwelly. Very quiet and nicely laid out for privacy.

Stayed here for one evening, one other van stayed as well. It was such a nice, quiet spot! Away from any main roads or houses so you can feel very at home here. Lovely walks and benches to eat at in the sun if it’s not raining :) keep it tidy as there are bins to use

Great little spot. Right out the way and a few decent short walks. It’s was raining pretty heavy when we went so that was perfect for us.
