This is probably a good place to have a short rest along the road but we didn't find it suitable for staying longer because, in August, during the day it was noisy because it is close to a busy road.

No facilities except a bin and picnic tables. Great view of the lake. frozen at the moment. Huge layby, so would be OK for a night
