supposedly self contained but they didn’t question us and we spoke to a number of other people in vans and cars, toilets open 9-5 but we showered on the beach and came. does fill up so get there early!

Petite espace réservé aux camping cars, derrière le centre d'information. On est très proche les uns des autres, la dump est juste à côté, pas tres agréable... Mais c'est le seul spot gratuit autorisé dans le secteur.
Small space reserved for motorhomes, behind the information center. We are very close to each other, the dump is right next door, not very nice ... But this is the only free spot allowed in the area.
Kleiner Platz für Wohnmobile, hinter dem Informationszentrum. Wir sind sehr nah beieinander, die Müllkippe ist gleich nebenan, nicht sehr angenehm ... Aber es ist der einzige freie Platz in der Gegend.
Pequeño espacio reservado para autocaravanas, detrás del centro de información. Estamos muy cerca el uno del otro, el basurero está justo al lado, no muy agradable ... Pero es el único lugar libre autorizado en la zona.
Piccolo spazio riservato ai camper, dietro il centro informazioni. Siamo molto vicini l'uno all'altro, la discarica è proprio accanto, non molto gradevole... Però è l'unico posto libero autorizzato della zona.
Kleine ruimte gereserveerd voor campers, achter het informatiecentrum. We zitten heel dicht bij elkaar, de vuilstort is naast de deur, niet erg prettig... Maar het is de enige toegestane vrije plek in de omgeving.

You can stop here overnight but you need a permission (which we didn‘t have, but as long as you leave early it is no problem). Toilets close at 5pm. Dumping station and water (not for drinking) available.

Hot, sweaty, noisy and crowded when we got there, no thank you
marta.marques25/03/2023We spent one night here while traveling through Hervey bay and it was ok. there weren't many people staying for the night. Just us and four other campers. this parking is supposed to be only for self contained campers as there are no toilets available in this spot.
