now a 2m height restriction! do not use
Parking calme entouré d'arbres. Aucune restriction de hauteur
Quiet car park surrounded by trees. No height restrictions. Very populair place for the locals to park and walk their dogs.
Update: Sadly there is a 2m height restriction in place now but there is parking at the side of the road. there are also signs saying that there is a 6'6 width restriction but this isn't the case. we got through no proplem at 7'8 (2.35m).

Don't worry about the height restriction. Turn right as you leave the car park and about 300 metres down on the left is a large dirt 'lay-by' big enough for 3 big vans, just near the junction of Park Lane and A29 London Road. KFC and Burger King and Petrol station 1 junction away and the petrol station has a public toilet. Had a reasonable 3 phone signal, 2 bars.

Busy carpark, and hight restrictions (2m) locals are friendly and the woods are so beautiful. Few shops local and petrol station half a mile away

As in other comments, 2m height restriction for national trust car park. We stayed in lay-by along the road outside which was flat and quite quiet although the ground was soft. You might struggle in a heavy van if it’s been wet.

Gut geschützt unter Bäumen, nachts komplett ruhig. Liegt an einem ausgedehnten Wald- Wiesengebiet. Ideal für Hunde.
djfuller27/08/2019As per other comment, small, secluded National Trust car park. Local dog walkers friendly an approachable. Excellent nat trust leaflet in holder by noticeboard, no list of parking restrictions at this time. Feels safe and ok. No facilities.
