Fine for overnight stopover, surface a bit uneven but we managed to get it fairly level. Few boy racers going passed and group playing music and racing early hours but didn't bother us. Cafe was closed whilst we were there but we arrived late and left early. Great views. Lots of sheep!

The cafe and public convenience is excellent. The cafe is popular with motorcycle riders all year round but not an issue. Heather covered upland walk is not strenuous and provides very pleasant views. There is a quarry road just north of the site if you want level hardstanding rather than off road on grass which can be bumpy on occasions. Excellent mobile phone coverage. A late night arrival and breakfast in the cafe the morning after comes highly recommended.
