Nous avons passé la nuit ici tranquille sans un bruit, je ne suis pas allé au lieu un peu plus loin car la route était vraiment étroite (mon CC 7m) j'ai pu faire demi tour devant les maisons,donc coin pas mal pour dormir ou manger au calme, agriculteur sympa
We spent the night here quiet without a sound, I did not go to the place a little further because the road was really narrow (my CC 7m) I was able to turn back in front of the houses, so not bad corner to sleep or eat quiet, nice farmer
Wir haben die Nacht hier ruhig und geräuschlos verbracht, ich bin stattdessen nicht weiter gegangen, weil die Straße sehr eng war (mein CC 7m), ich konnte vor den Häusern umdrehen, also ein guter Schlafplatz Iss in Ruhe, netter Bauer

Good quiet over night spot. stayed one night in heavy rain. Half this layby is solid, half is mud so was very biggy when we arrived. solid part perfect though. slight slope but not much. very quiet, only two cars all night. Bit of traffic noise from main road but nothing to worry. Beautiful in morning as sun comes up. Good spot
Nice spot , woke up to a pheasant shooting party so surrounded by toffs land-rovers and a lot of dead birds
A spot on park4night… where you can actually park for the night. Very quiet at night zero cars coming past and nice space to yourself. Great spot.
Nice spot. Fairly busy. Awesome views. No restrictions. As quite high when it’s windy it was very gusty.
Spent one night here on the way to the MOT centre. Beautiful spot and so peaceful, very little traffic.
Etwas abschüssigen Platz an einer schmalen Straße. Eigentlich wollte wir auf dem Hügel schlafen hier war es allerdings sehr windig, die Aussicht lohnt sich trotzdem. Dies war eine gute Alternative für eine Nacht. Einige Autos und Traktoren des nahegelegenen Hofes sind vorbei gebrettert.
Nous nous sommes faits éjecter gentiment. Propriété privée. De plus, le propriétaire nous a indiqué le parking 1km plus loin en haut de la colline qui est superbe avec vue mer. C’est sur ce nouveau site que nous allons passer la nuit.

What a great stopover! Had previously stayed in the Bopeep car park at end of road, but was too busy for me. This was fantastic! In essence just a lay-by, but on a country lane was no problem. Stayed the whole day and then the night. Was joined by another van about 9pm, who actually backed into and parked on the farmers field, which I didn’t think was great behaviour! But lay-by is a great spot!
Super calme, au bord des champs. Très peu de passages puisqu'il s'agit d'une voie sans issue empruntée par des agriculteurs. Route étroite avec croisements parfois compliqués.
Stayed here for 1 night. Quiet location with lovely views - would recommend. Wasn't bothered by anyone.

A lovely, quiet spot in the foot of the Downs. For a country Lane it’s a good quality road with no potholes leading up to the lay by (but there are further up the lane!) Cars pass by every now and then but it’s not busy at all. Pub a short walk away, Middle Farm shop a few minutes drive from you and plenty of country walks right next to Charleston. Giving a 4 instead of a 5 because of close proximity to the road but would definitely stay again.
Great over nighter very quite with a lovely view of the downs and the surrounding fields 10 minutes walk from a pub and 20 from middlefarm shop and cider shed. will definitely stay again
Quiet solitary spot. amazing views. walking trails all around and a pub nearby.
