Superb remote flat area (stopped by the bridge rather than the quarry). No one else there until another walker at about 8:00. No phone/internet signal although you could pick one up by walking over the bridge. No facilities, but great to see no rubbish. Sits at 300m altitude and as such gives access to one of the easier Munros. We did try and stop here back in the summer,
There is a flat, gravelled parking area next to Garva Bridge used by hillwalkers going up Geal Charn. The road leading to it from Laggan is narrow but tarmac all the way. We spent one night here after climbing Geal Charn. Totally peaceful and we enjoyed watching the herds of red deer. Absolutely no phone signal on any network. Bliss!
