Sheltered from the 60mph wind, quiet. Road is single track with passing places but has a few pit holes so take it easy. Can see the Loch through the trees and can walk down to it

Quiet place, beautiful road in, would stay again.

Stayed here for 2 nights to shelter from the winds and rain and was the perfect location. Completely out in the middle of nowhere with great 4g signal on a road that only had like 10 cars pass us. No bins or toilets nearby, about 20 minutes off the NC500 route. Lovely views of Loch Hope and Ben Hope, would recommend for a place out of the way of tourists.

Lovely little area. We got stopped by a local asking if we’d seen the sign at the top go the road saying the road was unsuitable for campers! We hadn’t seen the sign but it’s not unsuitable it’s just one of Scotlands usual single track roads with passing places

Great park up! Quiet, peaceful, secluded and surrounded by trees. With Mount Hope behind and namesake loch in front, you couldn’t ask for more. Babbling stream and little beach, room for 3 vans. Perfect for kayaking, wild swimming and maybe a BBQ on the beach, weather permitting. Off the beaten track so totally alone. Thank you park4night, without this app I would never have found this place.

An amazing plane to sleep for the night. So quite. The views are amazing. Highly recommend

this was a really peaceful spot and you could walk just down the road to go for a swim. secluded and I was the only person there, not many people passing through on the road. there were quite a few midges though

This place was very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the wild swim at loch hope in the morning. Would recommend no more then 2 or 3 campers as we was in a Motorhome and another in a 4by4 and that was enough. The Lane to get to here is single track and tight so only travel if confident to reverse and drive lanes. Be prepared for a large amount of midges/ticks!!!

Great view, very quiet with 0 traffic passing by. Lots of space.

Nous sommes restés une nuit en van, nous étions seuls, et seulement 2 voitures sont passées sur la petite route. Il y a une petite plage à côté. Parfait pour aller au départ de la randonnée Ben Hope le matin. Attention aux midges !

Stayed here, over the road from the beach, loads of space for 3 campers, maybe 4 at a squeeze. The beach is lush, obviously loads of midges. There are a few more places to stay further south as well. Road is very quiet but a wee bit tight for a big camper.

Fine little spot, flat and quiet with good signal. about a 10 min drive from the base of Ben Hope. not too far from the loch if you wanted to swim!

A nice hard core pull in at the side of a very quiet road (3 cars in 24hrs). Ample space for 4 or 5 vans. Another van came and camped on the Loch shore beach... They might still be there as the ground looked soft. Stunning Loch. Bumpy Road to get there might be a very slow drive for bigger motorhomes. Removed over 20 ticks off the dogs in 1 night.

Outstanding location. Super quiet, and right at the foot of Ben Hope, as well as direct access to the Loch. Please keep it tidy!

Stayed here for one night after climbing Ben Hope. was so peaceful and quiet. midges were awful though! and no phone network. room for at least 3 campers, was my MH and one other camper yet so much space apart from each other still felt really private and secluded
