Parked at teatime staff was lovely and welcoming serving food in pub lovely quite spot brilliant place for a stop over for night £10

Great stopover well worth £10 lovely location close to a beautiful beach & bay. Pub was a welcomed bonus great beer & food.

Wunderbar ruhiges Parken auf dem Parkplatz des Farr Bay Inn. Wir waren früh da und konnten direkt an der Mauer stehen und auf dem kleinen Grünstreifen unsere Stühle in der Sonne aufstellen, ohne gesehen zu werden. Das Personal im Hotel ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das kleine Restaurant und Pub sehen ungemütlich aus. Unbedingt zum Strand laufen, der sehr einsam und traumhaft schön ist.

Great and quiet spot at the Farr Inn car park. Only £10 a night. Able to use the toilet in the restaurant. Beach is about 5min away (walking distance). Perfect place if you have a dog as well. Restaurant is offering amazing food.

Nous avons passé la nuit au bord du chemin qui mène au parking du cimetière, le long du mur. Nuit tranquille. La plage est à moins de 10min à pieds. Magnifique avec le couché de soleil. Si vous roulez encore un peu direction coso beach vous trouverez de beaux spots sauvages

Nice little spot at in the car park. We chose here as it was very windy and the wall gives some shelter. Cheap at £10 a night, able to use the toilet in the restaurant (7:45am - 10pm).Beach in very close proximity. If you’re thinking of staying here get here ideally before 4pm as we arrived at 3:30 and the car park was full (8 vehicles) by 5pm. No bin is the only downside.

10 pond voor overnachting bij de Farr Bay Inn zonder service. we hebben er gedineerd en het was lekker, de bediening erg aardig maar de prijs was hoog. surfhotspot achter het restaurant! prachtig. museum Strathnaver ZEER de moeite waard!

Parked in the Pub car park availability for at least 4 campervans. The pub, staff and food was amazing and all for the price of £10 to stay. The beach was only a few minutes walk a great place for the dogs. Would highly recommend it, would definitely stay here again 10/10 some happy campers.

Great place to pitch up to. We got a fairly flat place in the car park around mid afternoon, then watched the place fill up for the evening. Very popular. The pub served great food, prices were top dollar, but well worth it. £10 to pitch up bit no facilities. A 10 minute walk to Farr Bay and a beautiful sandy beach. Perfect if you have dogs. Friendly guys at the pub. Would recommend a stopover.

Managed to park in the car park…Had a beer in the pub then went for a walk to the beach which is around 10 minutes away…Stunning as the sun went down…Staff at the pub very friendly and the beach is awesome.

Very welcoming staff at Fair Bay Inn, beautiful walk to a lovely sandy beach and a quiet nights sleep. Food was delicious and the hot chocolates were equally a highlight!

Super friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Nice evening in the bar and overnight stay. Make sure you check out The Store up the road too!

Lovely place, friendly people I stopped the night here on their back road, there is a path down to beach it’s a couple of minutes off the NC500 down their lane. They charge £10 now as they have to maintain the road themselves. Food looked good I didn’t eat but tasted a couple of local Orkney beers.

Good spot in a barren landscape. Please note the beer is very noice, but they are now charging £10 to stay in car park as it costs them time and energy to repair the carpark. Strathy was somewhat of a letdown and we didn't want to go too far so was a good place.

Lovely staff. Shoutout to the young bar man from consett! Nice little place to stay; no O2 service but Wi-Fi from the pub. Beautiful food. Will stay again.

Excellent stopover. We phoned the Far Bay inn and booked a table for an evening meal. They directed us to park around the back in the Museum carpark. Good food if a little pricey and dog friendly. Car park is on a slope but nothing that bothered us. Lots of room for our 7.5m van. One other van when stayed. Very quiet nights sleep. Nice beach walk for the dog in the morning.

Parking is behind the pub, in the entry road for the museum. Room for several vans. Bar staff very friendly. We had dinner and drinks there too. Dinner was amazing and highly recommended! Served until about 8pm. Checked if we could also have breakfast in the morning. We didn't, but it was possible. Not possible to use loo in the morning else wise though.

Wir wurden vom Barmann sehr freundlich empfangen, leider kamen wir zu spät an( ca 20 Uhr), da war die Küche schon geschlossen, aber ein Bier gab es trotzdem noch..wir konnten hinter der Mauer unser Womo abstellen und sind am Morgen von den Schafen geweckt worden, ca 350m zum Strand

Wir haben im Restaurant/Hotel gefragt ,ob wir vor dem Haus auf einer Wiese übernachten können. War kein Problem. Haben im Restaurant lecker gegessen. Etwas hochwertiger.....***** Super nette Leute ,helfen bei jedem Tip....

Checked with staff it was ok to stopover, no problem just asked to park in the corner. Had a meal in the Inn, best to book. Worth the walk to the beach and you can walk up the headland for some even better views. Building work behind the beach car park with contractors taking up the space but still room for a couple of vans on the approach if you want more level parking.

Parked up in the Inn car park. We had dinner and drinks in the Inn. Food fantastic and great beer. You can also park in the beach car park. Family run business. Zac the bar manager was brilliant and all staff and very friendly. note that its for sale, so hopefully when sold the new owners will feel the same about people popping in!

Parked up in the car park, there was already a camper there. popped in to ask to stay, they were more than happy. as they were leaving the room I asked if I could stay to have a drink. they weren't expecting me at all to be a patron. but I always would anyway to keep places like this happy to have us! staff were friendly and chatty. absolutely no signal, but the inn does have WiFi.

We got a couple drinks at the bar and parked up in the Inn car park. We asked very politely and they didn’t mind at all. A relief after three other nearby Park4Night spots didn’t work out.
