It's now £11 for the night not £8, toilets only open in the day time. Bit expensive for just a car park but quiet undisturbed night

  • 5/5

To stay overnight seems only available by using RingGo app. £8:20. Day time can use the machine (£5) or app (£5.20).

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Nice little spot! FYI as of 25/05/23; Daytime parking code is 54508 Night motorhome parking is 54524 App says £8 for 6pm to 8am but this will change to 10am after you pay. The app unable to extend stay past 10am so you'll need to manually buy another day or night ticket as required at 10am

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet place to stay, plenty of spaces available and only £8 from 6pm-10am. Loads of shops close by if you don't fancy cooking and an outdoor swimming pool too. Best to pay for parking by using the app as there's a separate code for moho overnight parking.

  • 5/5

A relief to find such a great spot to stay overnight . To make things easier have £8 in coins other wise you need the app . Peaceful night , lovely little port town . Enjoy this rare parking place

  • 5/5

Still our favourite spot. I just wish other towns in Devon and Cornwall would follow suit. This might deter the few unsavoury character the spoil it for the majority and bring much needed money into the community.

  • 5/5

Great nights stay. very quiet. Had trouble with the ringgo app code but eventually got it sorted with help from other campervan people staying over night. Best place to park is right down at the end of the carpark where there are designated motorhome spaces for about 10 vehicles. wonderful sunrise in the morning over looking the estuary.

  • 5/5

Wonderful place. However as we had parked the van a ship seemed to want to start up its engines with no apparent reason and we moved the motorvan from the quay towards the side of the childcare. Seems ok now. 8£ pernight; might even be the costs for 2 nights.

  • 5/5

need to us cash in the machine or ringo with correct code as there are 4 different ringgo codes for the car park! Best place to park is right at the end though the whole second half of the car park is long stay. very cosy and quiet... highly recommend

  • 5/5

This should take you to the far end of the car park. £8 6pm - 10am. Additionally costs incurred outside of these hours. Very quiet.

  • 4/5

Right by the river ample and a choice of parking Depending on the size of your Motorhome will depend on the cost Should you stretch over into 2 bays then it’s £8.00 x2 .Personally I used the parking app as the machine wouldn’t recognise the overnight parking tariff.lots of charity shops lots of takeaways lots of pizza places quirky pubs and yes a spoons . Even quite a few hairdressers and barbers.

  • 5/5

Stayed here 2 nights, fantastic spot, quiet and safe. Parked as far as we could go in the long stay. A couple of residential boats but no issues. We had a problem parking as the machine didn't recognise our reg so spoke to the parking guys and they were very helpful. Also told us to stay at the Torrington car park as great views. We are here now parked up for the night. Fabulous!

  • 2/5

Lovely spot and it was lovely and quiet until a bunch of anti social guys rocked up, climbed aboard what I reckon is their live aboard boat and started a loud generator. Once it got to 10:30 at night figured it might be running all night and so gave up and moved on.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot by river. Skate park has now gone, so no late night disturbance from kids in cars. Barge cafe moored alongside, perfect for breakfast. Definitely check out art gallery next to park - awesome.

  • 1/5

£8 from 6pm till 10am. Then 3.70 to park during the day. That’s £11.70 for 24 hours & no services. Bit pricey.

  • 5/5

Stayed one night for £8 in overflow for coaches - 3 motorhomes there. Also bottom end of car park had another 3 motorhomes. 5 minute walk to chip shop. Quiet location by river

  • 4/5

Good spot and commendable that the council provide overnight parking for motorhomes. Now £8.00 from 6.00pm to 10.00am. Avoid last weekend in August because of motor cycle show in the whole car park. You need a Smart phone app or£ 8.00 in coins. It won't accept credit card payments.

  • 3/5

Plenty of room here and definitely fine for overnighting. Best to have RingGo app to stay here otherwise you’ll need 8x £1.00 coins, although there is a contactless card point but it didn’t work for me. Road noise from A39 is moderate. Quiet at night once local

  • 4/5

    Overnight charge now £8

  • 1/5

No overnight sleeping in vehicles except motor homes is permitted.

  • 5/5

Great overnight parking at the far end, you can't go any further, it is now £8 for the overnight ticket.

  • 4/5

We spent a nice quiet night here without any issues.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot looking over the river. much better when high tide boxes the mud! you need to pay for each space you occupy. there are longer pitches on the right at the far end of the long stay car park

  • 5/5

Very nice and overlooking the river

  • 5/5

Good spot plenty off room £5 a night 6pm to 10am

  • 4/5

Great little stopover, stayed 24/8/2020. No problem, very quiet, short walk to town. Nice little park and Morrisons close by.There were 7 others there.

  • 4/5

Mainly a quite night apart from a few cars belonging to the live-aboard boats on the river and a bin lorry early in the morning.

  • 5/5

    Looks good so far :-)

  • 5/5

Stayed here a couple of nights ago on the overflow area, good stopover, close to the town, toilets in the park.

  • 5/5

Having spoke to the same meter guy as Lorenzo I can confirm you need to buy both a day and a night ticket to stay for 24 hours, the motorhome night ticket is only from 6pm until 10am at a cost of £5. Make sure you drive to the long stay end of the car park and in fact if you drive right to the end by the skate park it is much quieter as no through traffic and easier to park a 7m van.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot. The pay meter says £5 from 6pm until 8am but I put my money in and it gave me 24 hours to park. Plenty of space and quiet! My van sticks out a bit, (I’m in a 20” - 6.2m van) but the meter guy said no problems! Lovely uninterrupted view of the river, a river walk and a park for dog walking behind. Highly recommended.

  • 4/5

A good stop right in town. No trouble. Right by the ships.

  • 4/5

Really nice location, cheap and quiet but close to the town. Local toilets do not open up before 8am at least - 24hr toilets down the road / front have drug paraphernalia around so would avoid like the plague!

  • 5/5

Lovely cheap, sat watching the sailing boats this evening

  • 4/5

Good parking spot, spent the night trouble free. Paying for parking on the phone was a bit complicated but we got there in the end!!

  • 3/5

Safe and central if you want to go out. Close to grocery store, and has clean restrooms that are open during day. Down side- backs up tona giant playground if you need to sleep/nap during the day.

  • 5/5

Lovely parking with view on the river. £3 for the whole day. £5 overnight. 2 consecutive days only allowed. Toilet in the parking open during the day. Nice bicycle path across the bridge that goes to Instow and further up

  • 4/5

Vraiment chouette ce parking. Vue sur la rivière et les beaux bateaux amarrés le long du quai. Il est demandé de laisser 6 m entre chaque camping-car pour la sécurité ; ce qui n’est hélas pas appliqué en Europe du sud.

  • 4/5

Quiet at night but many cars arriving in the morning. Longer campervans must park on the overflow & coach parking at the Northern end (advantage: less traffic). Hugh park with playground and even a swimming pool. Public toilet at daytime.

  • 5/5

Lovely cheap quiet car park, near town and next to a lovely park.
