The street perpendicular (walled garden street) good for 7.5m long motorhomes. Great pub to spend time in on shorter winter days. Dog loved 5 min walk to the amazing beach. Public toilets were also useful! We originally went to links car park but those spaces need booking weeks in advance and are full even in winter

  • 5/5

Great little spot, possibly quiet due to time of year but no trouble finding a space here & very handy facilities inc 24hr toilets & water fill up station. A beautiful place with plenty of walks & even a view of the Castle to wake up to

  • 5/5

We parked on the street that goes uphill. Big slope so we had to use our highest levelers. Next to a small park and when you cross that you have 24/7 public toilets. View if Bambirgh castle is great from here and only 5-10 min walk to castle and beach. Pubs on the same street. You are next to the “main” road so you can expect some cars passing, which was ok for us

  • 5/5

Great place to park up with views of the castle . toilets and beach stone throw away . pubs and hotels along the main street places to eat . caught the bus into seahouses and spent the day there .

  • 5/5

You probably must be able to park reverse into a side parking slot, because of the cars parked along the street. Only for good & save drivers.

  • 5/5

Excellent stay although it does get busy. Three pubs for food and a lovely butchers. Toilets and a place to fill up your water bottles outside the toilet. We parked up. For two nights. Could walk everywhere we needed to go including the castle, the beach, the Grace Darling museum and the church. As always be respectful and support local businesses.

  • 5/5

Stayed here Friday 16th May, quiet flat parking along the top of the triangle, side road on a slope. Enjoyed a meal at the Middle Inn, a quiet night, & bacon bap from the friendly butcher in the morning. Public toilets clean & open all hours. A great spot for the night.

  • 4/5

Emplacement idéal après une longue route et pour visiter le château le lendemain matin. Toilette ouvert 24/24 et propre, charmant petit village.

  • 5/5

Really quiet peaceful night, lovely spot and short walk to the castle and beach

  • 5/5

We stayed here for two nights and was hassle free. 24 hour, free toilets nearby. Great pubs, beach and Bamburgh Castle. Quiet and had a great nights sleep. Free parking and we supported the local community.

  • 5/5

stayed here for a night, sat outside the nearby hotel bar with my dog, a lovely evening and a friendly welcome. please dont spoil by being selfish.

  • 3/5

Some light traffic and pub goers during the evening, quiet at night, woke up by a honking local. Restaurant across the street. Walking distance from Bamburgh castle, beach and church. Good location. According to restaurant owner as long as you don’t park at the yellow lines you can just park there, so parking around the grass park should be fine.

  • 5/5

Kerbside parking in the village with toilets, shops & pubs and few mins away. It’s a nice park up but you are very conspicuous so best adopt a discrete profile & support the local businesses.

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Parking certainement plus pour van. Assez peu de places. Très bien placé pour aller au château.

  • 5/5

Great little spot to park for the day and overnight stop, close to the towns pubs & butchers which does breakfast buns and lovely sausages and burgers for a BBQ

  • 5/5

Great spot, can see the castle and 30 seconds to the best butchers in England, make sure you go!

  • 5/5

Good park up. Spent 2 nights at the end of March. Peaceful. Can recommend the butchers sausage and bacon baps.

  • 5/5

Good park up but just park up and lights out or black out curtains...there is a few vans with lights blazing windows open cooking their dinner. do that out of the way in a quiet place not in the town square. It will ruin the last place in Bamburgh for vans.

  • 5/5

Great place to stop free over night. Right next to pubs and restaurants and free access to 24/7 toilets.

  • 5/5

stopped in Feb 2024. no parking restrictions. used by normal residents and so you may struggle to get a place at peak times. we had no issues. all other nearby parking in the town looks to be expensive. Good place to stop and public toilet just across the street.

  • 4/5

I parked at the top of the quadrant green space. between the church and the pub, it was more level than font st. very quiet, people are friendly, and accepting, just left me to it. only cold water in toilets, but i have to say i felt very happy parking there.

  • 5/5

Just stopped here for the last three nights, we were only planning at stopping for 1 to visit the castle but it was so good used it as a base for days out. The 24 hour toilets were a godsend and the local pubs were lovely and food at the Castle pub was amazing! Its lovely to end the day there for some good food and a few drinks. It’s such a lovely place, we will definitely be back!

  • 5/5

Very quiet area castle looks great at night great pub around corner and dogs welcome Great butcher/bakery we also parked in laybye towards golf club for walk with the dog got few looks but explained we were not staying the night Visit RNLI Museum

  • 4/5

Fairly Quiet , lots of dogs / walkers , had a good nights sleep , gets quite busy during the day, nearby public toilets and buses that run to various locations, I hopped on one to Seahouses and went on a boat trip around the Farne islands

  • 5/5

Quiet night after a pub meal. Clean toilets opposite the grass square were open all night.

  • 5/5

Had a good night here on our first trip away. Not much space when we parked up around 6ish but most of the cars left later on. Little in the way of passing traffic or other noise once the pubs across the road had closed. Public toilets across the green were open 24 hours as far as we could tell. Easy walk to the castle and beach and pubs/cafés. Generally a friendly village.

  • 5/5

Nous étions venu le week-end et les places libres n’étaient pas nombreuses ( encore moins pour un camping car de 7m20 ) mais nous avons eu de la chance et avons passé une nuit très calme

  • 5/5

Excellent. Public toilets free and not bad at all (unknown if 24 hours or not, but i reckon they are).

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great stay overnight. Next to pubs and restaurants. All dog friendly. Public toilets and wifi in pubs. Baker & Butcher for fresh food. Wooded square for dog wee :) Very chilled. Good nights sleep. Castle & beach amazing.

  • 4/5

Not so noisy. Cute little place. Parking places easily available. Clean free toilets available. However, we went up the Wynding road and the view on the sea from the parking places there was unbeatable but there were no places available.

  • 5/5

Parked here last night, no issues. Toilets open 24 hours and lovely and clean..had a meal at the Victoria hotel and wow it was amazing..

  • 5/5

Loved coming back to beautiful Bamburgh parked easily on this road, free no restrictions, had great meal in the Victoria, obviously this time of year exceptionally quiet

  • 5/5

Lovely spot opposite the pub, grass area to other side ideal for dogs. lots lovely places to eat and get drinks fab castle

  • 5/5

Opposite a row of pubs, due to covid, all stopped serving food 8pm, drinks until 10. Parking along a road, next to a patch of grass perfect for dogs. 24 hour toilets which were clean! free parking, over looking the castle, next to the beach!! We went to the Victoria for a drink and the staff were super friendly! Lovely spot, so pretty... Not suitable for more than 1 night, could fill up quickly.

  • 5/5

Wonderful overnight spot in the centre of the village. 24hr toilets were very handy and the deli/food shop was brilliant for a stock up!

  • 5/5

Stayed here on a Friday night. had to wait until a spot became available, more space later on. excellent spot, had meal in the 'Lord Crewe' then a few more beers in the Victoria. there is a guy doing wood fired pizzas made to order in the little shop courtyard opposite the church. public toilets open all night on other side to the pubs.

  • 5/5

Great location, busy during pub hours and from 0800 in the morning. Good night's sleep, popped over to the butcher for breakfast sausages. sent family off for a great visit to the castle while I worked from the MH. Beach is unbelievable!

  • 5/5

Parked here last night, no issues! Slept in until 10:30 with very little road noise, if we were to visit here again this is where we would park.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot but can be busy through the day but a few spots are available come the evening. Nice to be close to toilets over the road and pubs/hotels for food.

  • 5/5

Turned up Friday night and there was a wedding or function in the local Hotel across the way. Every spot was taken. Came back later but still very busy. There is another large free car park just round the corner, just in front of the castle.
