Motorhome and caravan site in Pirna Sonnenstein – near Dresden & Saxon Switzerland Discover our new motorhome and caravan site in Pirna Sonnenstein – ideally located between Dresden and the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Our spacious pitches (approx. 6 x 9 meters) offer ample room for motorhomes and caravans and are situated on a quiet meadow in a small, well-maintained industrial park. Thanks to excellent transport connections, you can reach the center of Pirna in just 10 minutes. From there, you can easily take the S-Bahn (suburban train) to Dresden in about 20 minutes or be right in the heart of Saxon Switzerland in just 15 minutes – perfect for hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers. The bus stop is just a 2-minute walk away. Shopping facilities such as REWE, a bakery, and Kaufland are within easy walking distance. A restaurant offering lunch is also located nearby. The year-round campsite is quietly located, offers approximately 120 pitches on parceled meadows (approx. 80m²), most of which have electricity on site, and a modern sanitary building. For those who prefer traditional camping, there are outdoor showers and washing-up facilities. The site isn't perfect yet, but it's growing. Directly in front of the entrance is the Lusatian cycle path network and the water sports center with water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing, as well as SUP rentals and a small beach bar. The beach is 1.2 km away via a shore path below the Leuchtturm restaurant. It's ideal for both sports and relaxation.
