As per the review of the 11th Nov. However, there are public 5 mins away down in the village but only open from 9:30 to 3:30. We had a lovely quiet night with nice views out a cross the sea.

  • 5/5

Great park up. Lovely views. £10 for 24hrs. Paid with contactless at the machine. Only 3 spaces and we were lucky enough to get the 3rd one. A short walk into town, and about 25 minutes walk from Anstruther where there are lots of places to eat. A very quiet night was had.

  • 5/5

Great spot for walking the coast and a wee dook. 3 spaces, we got lucky and got one.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Lovely view & plenty of space. Thought we were lucky to get straight into an overnight bay(1 of only 3). Hadn’t noticed, until we went to pay that there’s no overnight until after 13/08/25 - no explanation, but apologies for inconvenience. Shame, it’s a lovely spot, but hey ho & good for Pittenweem that we’re welcomed here. We can still enjoy the arts festival, a bike ride & a swim later

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Beautiful views in all directions. Great walk to the next village along the Fife Coastsl Path. Very quiet. Only 3 campers stayed overnight, all in designated spots unlike the unruly Kingsbarns beach parkup. Good phone reception. Would definitely come back!

  • 5/5

One of the nicest places I’ve stayed. A tenner to lay your hat; good, flat pitches. 2 disabled bays for blue badges, where I parked in the day, then moved to a marked bay from evening, bought a ticket and settled in for a peaceful night. Views are stunning. A well-kempt lawn area tipping over on to the sea, where you can sunbathe peacefully. Play areas for kids. Toilets clean & smell great.

  • 5/5

3 designated overnight parking spaces. £10 for 24hours and an absolutely beautiful place to spend the night. My girls loved the mini golf, the park and the beach. Stunning walks along the coast too. Parking attendant checking tickets for those staying overnight early this morning. You risk a £100 fine if you stay overnight and are not in one of the designated bays.

  • 5/5

3 designated spaces in fairly large, busy carpark. £10 for 24hrs - do take heed of information boards regarding parking. Toilets adjacent - opened 8am to 5pm. Great coastal views. Close to village - try the West End pub. Great to see a local authority providing these facilities.

  • 5/5

Really beautiful spot. Managed to secure one of the three allocated spaces. Spoiled only by numerous other vans who arrived and ignored the parking restrictions re limited overnight parking. Ultimately this is what ruins it for others and will lead to further restrictions and resentment from locals.

  • 4/5

We had to wait around for an hour or so for cars to clear from two of the three designated overnight bays. Spoke to the Council Meter man - very pleasant chap - was really quite helpful. The village is an easy stroll away - absolutely lovely. There is a tidal swimming pool just below the car park. Great nights sleep no problems

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Beautiful little village, very quiet and tranquil location. Only 3 overnight bays, we were lucky to get a space and enjoyed a drink with the friendly locals at The West End bar. Not many facilities, but the restful sleep was worth it.

  • 1/5

Big car park but only 3 bays with parking allowed overnight. Shame, it's a beautiful spot but unless you get here early it's just a waste of a journey.

  • 3/5

Few spots for overnight parking, right next to a park and mini golf course. Toilets arent open until April.

  • 2/5

This place offers nothing except parking in winter. The toilets are closed all winter and there are no other facilities here. Great in summer but not worth paying for in winter

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Lovely stop over and a quiet night. Nice walk into the village for an ice cream

  • 4/5

Enjoyed staying over in this little spot. Right at the beach and a short walk into town with a park and secure ground for kids to play etc. Toilets closed too early for us.

  • 4/5

Hi all, my wife and I stopped two nights here 14th & 15th June 2024. It’s safe with fantastic views. Yes, it costs £10 for 24hrs and the parking attendant comes around very early, so make sure your ticket can be seen. Unfortunately a couple of vans got caught out. The weather for us on the Saturday was excellent with a light sea breeze. A short walk gets you into town where there is a shop.:-)

  • 3/5

very nice view, calm place, direct access to the coast path, 3 slots for overnight stay, 10£ for 24h, public toilets open somewhere after 8AM and close somewhere after 5PM

  • 5/5

  • 3/5

Keep in mind that the toilets are closed in winter. Not sure what the £10 charge is for but it's a nice enough place to stay and the area is beautiful

  • 5/5

Great place to stay and walk the coastal path but even in February all the dedicated spaces are full. Probably very difficult to find a space in summer. Nearby Elie was the same .

  • 5/5

*edit* There are now only 3 camper van pitches here and the Fife Coast Trust come round and check. A lovely spot overlooking the Fife coast. Toilets nearby and a short walk into the village for food. For a short stay it’s free up to 2 hours, or £2 for all day.

  • 1/5

Arrived today and the road to the car park is closed due to roadworks, not sure how long it will be closed but probably worth checking if thinking of using the car park! Experienced the same problem at Ruby Bay car park prior to arriving here so council possibly carrying out repairs to car parks in and around the area!

  • 4/5

Some parking posts seem to be missing. Amazing spot. Coffee shack on site with toilets. Park is basic but great fun, crazy golf and open air pool. Busy busy. Loved it.

  • 4/5

  • 1/5

suspended parking during the arts festival. shame for those of us who wanted to stay and visit (and spend money)

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Great wee spot lovely and quiet and great value at £10 for the night. Lovely views looking down to the harbour. Only 5 spots available and fine of £60 if your not in bays or are additional vans to allocation.

  • 5/5

Great wee spot, fantastic views. £10 a night paid at machine. Parking attendant comes round in evening to check payment & vans are correctly parked in bays. Lovely guy, gave us a run down of local van spots & a business card to check out other sites run by Fife Coast & Countryside Trust. Short walk along coast to harbour area with chip shop & ice cream shop.

  • 5/5

Great place to overnight. £10 to park and there is a control. Great views over the Forth. Walk way along the coast vet accessible.

  • 5/5

Toilets open till 5pm beautiful views we walked to St Monans beautiful part of the fife costal walk

  • 5/5

What a place to wake up! Spoke to a really nice chap in a council vehicle who said they haven’t started charging for overnights yet. Toilets weren’t available while I was there. They have a small crazy golf, swings and it looks like there will be catering during peak season. There is an open air seawater swimming pool at the bottom of the cliff, accessible by steps. Worth £10!

  • 5/5

Stayed here for 2 nights, it was free as the payment machine was covered over as thay were working on site, defo worth £10 a night, only 5 bays & council come round on a regular basis, lots of wild swimmers, fantastic veiws

  • 4/5

Stopped here for lunch and found out you can now stay overnight in one of the five marked bays. The views are fantastic.

  • 1/5

No where to fill up with water

  • 5/5
