Based on other places that reported burglaries we settled on parking here for two consecutive days (note we actually parked on the road for added safety) and catching a train into Florence from Il Neto. There is no ticket machine so you have to find a tobacconist etc or seek out a train guard immediately, maybe at the front carriage. Note there are some direct trains or you have to change at Rifredi.
