This is a parking lot in front of the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History so the location is probably great, but the parking spaces are very small and executive short so it is not very suitable for motorhomes, Al least when it is crowded.
we had an e-scooter on the back of our camper van. it was secured with a cable lock. the cable was cut and the scooter stolen. across our vehicle there was another camper. two nice bicycles were missing. Think twice if you wanna park there - you've been warned.
Not for overnight stay. 20 NOK/hour or 92 NOK for 24 hours. Parking is not allowed between 20-9. I was hopping to fallow others and stay overnight, but at 20 the parking emptied and I left too. Supermarket at about 600 m.

Wenn man beim Parkautomaten mehr als 6 Stunden Parkzeit angibt, kauft man direkt für 24 Stunden. Wir haben an einem Samstag für den ganzen Tag 88 NOK gezahlt. Wir sind allerdings abends weitergefahren, weil wir uns nicht sicher waren, ob wir wirklich die ganze Nacht hier stehen dürfen. (Wir wurden aus dem Parkschild, wie oben im Bild dargestellt, nicht schlau.) Für Camper >6m evtl. zu klein.
On y a laissé le van pour la journée. On a payé 100 nok pour le stationnement. Même système qu'en France : on entre le numéro d immatriculation, on choisit le montant ( on a pris le maximum) , on paie par carte bancaire et on a un ticket. Ensuite bus ligne 30 : on n'a pas payé et retour en ferry.
parfait pour visiter l'île et ses musées ( musée folklorique juste en face) centre ville a 20min via bus 30, paiement avec app possible
Guter Parkplatz, um zu den Museen zu starten. Das Freilichtmuseum ist direkt gegenüber und die maritimen ca. 30 Gehminuten zum Hafen runter. Man kanonisch die Buslinie 30 nehmen.) Bezahlung via App möglich. Bis 6m passen in eine Parkbucht. Für längere Fahrzeuge gibt es ein paar Stellen, an denen man den hinteren Überhang über Grasstreifen schieben kann.

Parking à 20 bonnes minutes à pieds du musée de la marine (pointe de la presqu'île). 16 kn/heure... mettre 2h si vous souhaitez visiter un musée ! Si possible, privilégiez les transports en commun ou vélo plutôt que de se rendre en van/camping car la bas.
24h kosten aktuell 79NOK. Wir kamen morgens um halb 10 Uhr, da war der Parkplatz fast leer, so dass wir gut einen der Parkplätze bei dem man mit dem Heck in der Wiese stehen kann nutzen konnten. Sind dann zu Fuß in die Stadt gelaufen und abends wieder zurück, da war der Parkplatz wieder nahezu komplett leer.

As far as we could see, motorhomes are allowed to stay here overnight, only caravans are limited - but we may be wrong. We stayed three nights at 61Kr. which was good value and this is reasonably convenient to cycle into the city. I don't understand why the poster said it is difficult for campers? You will extend past the marked car parks and maybe that could be a problem?
