Kirroughtree visitor centre is a better place to go , it’s free for a night for motor homes and camper vans and the parking area is huge , always plenty room and water available and 24hr toilet , showers too but closed just now due to covid , walks a brilliant and good for cyclists too , cafe too , very quiet and peaceful at night , can’t recommend it enough !!!

Great little spot for the night. gravel base and fairly flat. very quiet off the main road, no cars passed whilst we were there...from about 8pm, plenty of dog walkers in the morning who were very friendly. no facilities but only a 5 minute drive to Kirroughtree.
