Overnight stay in our MH £3.20 for 24hrs perfect. 5.30pm to early hours we were treated to boy racers auditioning for a part in the Fast & Furious films while providing the sounds of D&B, I paid, they didn't Due to barrier, we could not leave either. Would council pay for my MH to be fixed if hit by these silly racers? Will not return due to this, otherwise it would have been a great spot

Very reasonable £10 per night in Feb 24. Can pay by app or card on machine. You do need to call for height barrier to be raised (number on barrier), but didn’t have to wait long to be let in or out. Flat. Very easy walk into town centre. Couple of boy racers in the eve but didn’t feel threatened. Quiet nights sleep. Check in advance if a race day as that affects availability.

  • 4/5

Very convenient, level site in municipal car park fronting the racecourse. £2 overnight and £5 for the day for motorhomes. Height barrier in place, but friendly staff turned out within 5 minutes of us puzzling to find a telephone number on the signboard, and let us in. Next race day 25 Sept23 when parking not allowed. Quiet at night.

  • 5/5

Great site close to centre of Warwick. Fairly level parking in area beyond the marked bays. Noisy during the day from 5 a side football pitches. Try to park away from them if you don’t like noise

  • 5/5

Height barrier but if you ring the contact number someone will come and open it for you. Large, level car park next to the racecourse. Plenty of green space for dog walking. We stayed on a Friday night and it was very quiet with one other camper there. Easy walking distance into town.

Stayed here on a Thursday night. Arrived at 1730. Phoned No on height barrier and a guy arrived about 15 minutes later to open it. £5 to stay 24 hours pay by card at machines. Nice flat parking with plenty of room for larger vans. 3 other vans here tonight.

  • 5/5

Stayed 1 night as a stop over while travelling, very quiet for sleeping. Felt safe and secure.CCTV covers carpark. Height barrier not a problem, just call the number on gate and very friendly staff will arrive in a few minutes to opening for you. 10 mins walk to town. Will definitely return to explore the area. We paid £2 overnight and £2 for the day.

  • 4/5

There is now a height restriction in place. only suitable for smaller campervans and the charge is £2 for overnight.

Great location, very nice 15 minutes walk along the side of the racetrack into the historic town of Warwick. Very nice council guy opened the barrier, said to give them an hour due to staff shortages. £2.20 overnight and £2.20 for 10 hours during the day. Can pay on app or machine. Very peaceful night sleep. Stayed for 2 nights to visit the castle, highly recommend.

Arrived 7pm after visiting the NEC for Motorhome Show 18th Oct 22, only to find it full of travelling fairground camper vans, caravans, trailers and rides. Decided not for us so moved on. May a bit unfortunate with our date and timing.

  • 5/5

Highly recommend. Is as described below. No problems.

  • 5/5

Very nice parking. £5 for the night. We called the phone number and someone comes to move the barrier limit.

  • 5/5

This place is great! Very peaceful and quiet at night. It is safe and the locals are very respectful. There no toilets. We enjoyed our stay here. Only five pound to stay 24 hours. Very good!

  • 5/5

A brilliant stop for vans near the town. a marshall comes to open the barrier and is so helpful. Perfect spot for a chill out in Warwick

  • 5/5

£2 overnight. £5 all day. Flat, quiet car park within easy walking distance of the town and castle. Some early morning dog walkers but other than that totally undisturbed

  • 5/5

We rang the number provided before we arrived but no answer, we left a voicemail and tried a couple more times but couldn't get an answer (this was around 3pm) so when we arrived the height barrier was obviously closed and no entry. Had to move on.

  • 1/5

problem with youths trying to get into our camper - we left but had to wait to be let out due to height barrier.

  • 3/5

£1 for 24 hours from the ticket machine. BUT there was groups of youths at the race end having a party when we got back to the van at night. Didn’t feel safe so moved to the other end by the football ground. If not for the youth party then it would have been great.

  • 5/5

Have just arrived. I rang ahead (about 25 mins) and was met by someone who opened the height barrier for me and explained where best to park (down on the left so you overhang between the concrete barriers). They explained that best to pay by machine and £1 covers 24 hours, so having arrived at 0920, i have the whole day and night for £1. A massive appreciation to warwick for doing this. Excellent quite nights sleep. Take note - shut from 11 to 23 october - area is used for fun fair etc.

  • 3/5

Wonderful that this is provided by the council, but not without it's problems. Returned to van after dinner to find a car surrounded by youths smoking/drinking and on a laptop parked 2 spaces over. Weird to be watched getting in van and due to van height we were locked in and couldn't have left if a situation arose. Note- rangers not available 24/7, charge is £1.10 6pm to 8am, cash or RingGo

  • 5/5

Friendly ranger gave us access through barrier quickly on arrival. Uninterrupted views of racecourse and park. A minutes access to fabulous walks for a dog. Quite/safe feel. Occasionally section of car park used by mobile covid testing so may be moved to another section of car park temporarily if you’re there after 9am. Only us and two other campers thru the night. Worth every bit of a £1 fee!!!!

  • 4/5

Handy parking for £1 overnight. A friendly warden came along to lift the height barrier in a few minutes. Two long Motorhomes were parked there too. The car park is also used by driving instructors for lessons on parking which was fine. Quiet night.

  • 5/5

Really good parking for £1 overnight. height barrier restriction of 2.1 metres so you need to ring 01926 314009 and a council ranger will let you in.

  • 1/5

Was all good until some local youths tried to break into our van. luckily we were inside.

  • 4/5

Call to lift height restriction barrier. Ideal parking for historic Warwick. Flat, tarmac. By a main road but nice views over the racecourse.

  • 1/5

All locked up, unable to gain entry on night of 20th Dec 2019. Could this be because it's in a residential area?

  • 1/5

Height restriction barrier so we couldn't get on the car park.

  • 2/5

Very noisy overnight, airport not far, as well as warwick bypass. May be good for a day stop, but I don't recommend for night.

  • 3/5

Seems they are going to stop motorhomes using the car park. I am here now and barriers are going up as I speak. They had travellers here over Xmas that caused problems. Also seems a van has taken up permanent residence. It all goes wrong when these things happen. Shame as it is an excellent stop over.

  • 4/5

Can't fault it, £1 from 6.00pm until 8.00 a.m. then £1 for the next day. Relatively level, dog walking on the course. Great!

  • 5/5

Great stop £1 for 14 hours over night. One other camper in. Very quiet.

  • 4/5

Excellent stopover, 10 minutes walk into town, very little noise. Heard rumours of local young people using it for racing bikes/cars but none the night we used it (Bank holiday Saturday). Two other vans the night we stopped. If only more UK councils provided spaces like this! Thank you Warwick :-)
