Still accessible but entire area is covered in dust as they are working on road ,I’m sure it’ll be fine once they are finished but not a pleasant place to stay as it is now .also lorry throwing up huge plumes of dust everytime they pass .so many fire pits (angry face) ,why do people feel the need to build their own every single time .
No longer accessible due to the road being resurfaced (in gravel) and trenches dug alongside. There is a lovely place around 300m down the road next to a tennis court (locked gate) & popular with locals at the weekend. Right next to the river and frequented by cows and dogs. One very loving, greedy and persistent dog who we found can only be chased away with a stick- don’t actually touch her!
Went here in winter conditions. The parking spots were muddy and we decided not to risk it. Parked on the side of the road wich is wide enough in this spot to let other cars pass with no problems. Gave it 4 stars because of the 2 km road from the main road. It was extremly bumpy, our tv almost fell off. Otherwise, a nice safe place to spend the night. The view is not to bad either.
