Balintore, 1 Sand Dune Walk

Small parking by the sea, very quiet, overlooking a beach. No sign "No overnight". Possibility to park about 4 vehicles. Similar parking a little further south. Preferred access for small vehicle. No height bar. We went on foot before because we had the impression of going into a dead end where a path not passable: but no problem. Charming little port. On the other hand, the beach above the harbor (where there is the Mermaid of the North) is really dirty. No problem for the quoted parking lot. Toilet at the port.

Wow what a view,we slept the night hearing the lap of the waves on the beach. Beautiful beach 10m away for walking. Thanks to the community for allowing us to share this amazing park up

This picnic area is overlooked by houses; ie you block their view, better to park at the harbour. Room for 3/4 vans.

Incredible place to stop. Very quiet, lots of space in the village, saw dolphins in the firth in the morning!

Very quiet village with an amazing beach. This spot fits around 6 campers comfortably but could fit 12 if door to door. Incredible views, very welcoming locals and dog walkers. If this spot is full there are a further two car parks and the parking at the pub which are all fine for overnight stays, however, we were the only ones that stayed the night here on 12/09/21. Well worth a visit!

Loved this place - public toilets closed due to refurbishment however there is a toilet at the seaboard center. Great beach which is perfect for swimming and friendly locals. There are also a few carparks around this little village that can be a good spot to stay.

Excellent spot, such a great view and a 5 minute walk to local Spar shop. Very quiet, several benches and two picnic tables available to use. One wheelie bin. Toilets at port which says it’s open 9am-9pm but showed up at 7.55pm to someone locking them up but they’re free to use. You literally couldn’t get any closer to the beach. Stayed over 7/7/21

Great spot, we were the only camper there, wonderful view up the beach and over the sea. 100 meters to public toilets, bin in carpark, water tap outside toilets.

Great little spot right next to the beach looking out to sea. Beach is lovely and good places for rock pools. no facilities except water tap up by the harbour. there is a bin which was full but there are a couple more near the toilet's about 5 min walk away.

Great carpark- can fit plenty of vans and there is a bunch of carpark a in a row. No toilets but there is probably along at harbour - will 100% be back.

Absolutely stupendous little spot ...as close to the beach as you could be without a boat
