super spot très calme et beaux paysages. Le chemin est assez dangereux mais en roulant doucement ça va !

Location in the heart of nature. Parking place for visitors to the Lines of Torres Vedras. Dirt road to get here, rutted, but passable to smaller vans, PCVs. Wind turbine close by of that bothers you.

Google Maps sent us a terrible way, went up a tiny dirt road and almost got stuck in a ditch. Watch that your navigation sends you the way with the most main roads possible!! When we finally got there it was spacious, clean and deserted. Nice quiet night sleep!
NinJoe21/12/2021Schöner ruhiger Platz. Die Zufahrt ist etwas heikel. Wir sind bei starkem Regen hoch gefahren, dabei sieht man die Tiefe der Furchen nicht. Diese sind teilweise sehr groß. Ansonsten hatten wir eine ruhige Nacht. Die Windräder haben uns und unseren Hund nicht gestört. Der Untergrund ist relativ eben und die Umgebung schön. Die Ruinen oberhalb sind auch einen kleinen Ausflug wert. Toller Platz!

Quiet place for staying the night. We arrived in the dark, and got stuck with our van in a trench next to the road. Watch out for that. Still, a good and quiet place to stay.

Nice spot. We slept here one night. Unfortunately the toilets were closed.
sunnybird30/01/2020Als je een stuk rust zoekt en wil genieten van de natuur en wat meer wil weten over de linies van Torres Vedras, een verdedigingslinie ten tijde van de napoleontische tijd. Dan zit je hier prima. Wij hebben alleen pech dat het mistig is en miezert. We zullen nog een keer terug moeten en dat is geen straf. De weg is wat hobbelig maar met heel rustig rijden kom je wel boven.

Ruhig, sauber! und weit weg vom Verkehr. Nur die Windräder sind leider zu hören. Hat meinen jungen Hund etwas irritiert, aber viele Wege um mit ihr zu laufen. Wer die Einsamkeit mag ist hier richtig. Hatten zwei erholsame Nächte trotz Sturm und Regen.

Lovely spot to spend the night, and to explore the military defenses from the Peninsula War. Parking is slightly sloping but not bad. Very quiet and dark. The parking is a little further on from the GPS waypoint.
