Logging road now locked by Forrest commission, lovely spot to stop though
Parking bon pour une nuit près de l'autoroute, en bord de route. entrée de route forestière. non plat, il faut des cales
If your feeling adventures when you get to this site, there is a gate on the right hand side, it's an overgrown loggers road, take its easy up there, when you get to the top, plenty of room to turn around and great views. There is also parking at the bottom. Better to arrive during daylight if you plan to go up the logging road. Chance of fallen small rocks on the road needing clearance.
Gute Parkmöglichkeiten für eine Nacht in der Nähe der Autobahn, am Straßenrand. Eingang der Forststraße. Nicht flach, man braucht Auffahrkeile.

ruthalivingstone11/09/2021Beautiful view & very wild. In September there are delicious brambles all up the logging road. We had to clear a couple of rocks off the road. Best for 4 wheel drive, but still possible with our 2 wheel drive van.
emilioloom23/08/2021Place is fine for a night. Be aware that the gate is locked and not open ok evenings. I parked the caravan (10 metres long) before the gate. There is enough space for 3 motorhomes.

Great spot for an overnight stop. Obviously no services at all and Reasonably level. Midges and flies were vicious - but that’s more about the season than the spot!

Definitely a surrounded by nature spot, set in a quiet valley in the woods. Perfect for an overnight stop off the motor way and a morning walk up to Grey Mare's Tale.

Quiet and peaceful spot, smell of pine in the air. Hardly any traffic day or night. Possible to get level if you park as we did (the luton van in the pictures). Only drawback is the walk up the forestry track is a little boring
