Pub "900 year old Freehouse pub". Grand parking Demander au propriétaire si il est possible rester après l'achat d'une pinte. Pour nous il a accepté avec grand plaisir. Pas de service, places de parking standard.

Stellplatz = Parkplatz vom Pub - Wifi funktioniert (teilweise) - Pub ist grenzgenial (extrem coole Einrichtung und über 800 Jahre alt) - Essen gut / Bier auch ;-) die Zufahrt ist der einzige wirklich dafür große Makel, eng, eng, eng :-/ man sollte sein Womo auch im Rückwärtsgang beherrschen ;-)
Fantastisch mooie pub en uitstekend eten. Erg aardig personeel. We hebben gevraagd of we mochten overnachten en dat kon. Bij ons was het hek al veel eerder open. Er kwam een grote groep om te gaan jagen. Wij hebben een camper van 5.40 m bij 2.40 m. Heenreis via het smalle weggetje. Het is smal, maar wel te doen. Het is ongeveer 1 km. Terug via de wijk gereden. Dat is heel goed te doen. Via B474.
Stayed for 1 night after staff confirmed it’s ok. Food is amazing here. A peaceful night too. Gate is closed but not locked so was able to leave, just make sure you close the gate behind you. Approach road not really suitable for mobile-home type as it’s very narrow with limited (and small) passing places. I’m in a VW transporter. I usually park in Beaconsfield but will defo be back here.
El lugar es increíble, y no nos pusieron ningún problema para quedarnos. Lo único es que nos avisaron que la barrera de entrada no se abría hasta las 10 am, por lo que no se puede salir antes.
Ok 900 Jahre alt und sehenswert. Aber die Straße ca. 1 km hin und auch 1 km zu andere Seite. Viel zu eng für pkw schon für ein Wohnmobil ohne Kratzer kommt man nicht weg. Wenn eine entgegen kommt was uns auch passiert. Lange Rückfahrt. Dabei haben wir kleine Womo…..!!!!
Great overnight spot, beautiful old pub - will be back
Fantastic little pub. Very popular so may need to book a table at the weekend. We didn’t eat but had a couple of drink. The staff were amazing and showed my kids all the historical things. There is also a lovely walk from there.
We stayed here last night. The pub is amazing and well worth a visit. We had a fantastic meal, and our dog was made very welcome too. The car park is large, flat, and sheltered. We had a quiet night and would visit again. We asked in the pub before staying overnight.
Lovely (very!) old pub with traditional British grub. No problem parking for the night in the very large and largely flat car park. Very quiet despite it being a Sat night
We stayed here on 19/01/23, Car park is huge and pub is fantastic, like a Hollywood film set but the real thing. We had some food and spoke to member of staff who said we were fine to stay over night. The gate is locked when pub shuts and was open again by 9 am. Definitely recommended.
Le lieu est idéal pour se poser après une belle journée aux studios Harry Potter. Le tenancier du pub est un monsieur rempli d histoire et une personne très aimable. je me suis régalé a table mais aussi avec l histoire de ce pub de plus de 1000 ans ! la route pour y accéder est elle aussi typique..... pas large et en sous bois. Je recommande vraiment. A l instar du camping à proximité !

Here now! lovely spot and lovely pub, roads to it are single track but perfect for a small camper, they close the gates between 11pm and 9am ish but no one minds you being there, only downside is dogs barking all night in a kennel next to it
Großer Parkplatz des ältesten (?) Pubs in UK. Der Pub liegt abseits und ist teilweise nur über schmale, zum Teil nicht asphaltierte, Wege zu erreichen. Für große Wohnmobile ungeeignet. Im Pub gefragt, kein Problem. Lecker Essen, lecker Bier, der Pub ist urig.
