Lovely little spot with view of the sea. Entrance to Dooneys is further up. Do not walk up this road. It's a tight entrance & would not be suitable for motorhomes. Sprinter parked easily enough. Road is very busy & a blind summit so be aware of traffic when entering & exiting. Minus point is inconsiderate people parking, making access & exiting difficult. No amenities.
Great spot for single night stopovers if your toilet's empty & your water's full as there are no services here. Just bins & picnic tables in a large layby, although the entrance is quite tight. Fantastic views make up for the train noise and the undeveloped ground. Still quiet enough for me to sleep from about 10.30pm til 7.30am...then it gets noticeably busier. .
Lieu au calme la nuit, rare circulation, même avec le chemin de fer. vu sur la mer mais pas d'accès facile à la plage. Facile d'accès pour camping-car, avec table de pique-nique et poubelle.
Für eine Nacht ok. Viel Verkehr, auch die Eisenbahn ist gut zu hören. Enge Ein- und Ausfahrt für Gespanne.
A good spot on the edge of Aberdeen. It's a lay-by with some picnic tables and a couple of bins- no other amenities. We spent spent a quiet night here. There's a footpath at the north end of the lay-by that goes to the top of Tullos Hill. It's an easy 15 minute walk to the top and gives you a great view of the city.
Spend 2 nights there no problem, very quiet.bins on the car park, we saw 2 seal in the sea on the trail on the other side of the road.nice view of the sea , definitely recommend.
A great spot, the coast road is really quiet at night with hardly any traffic passing - I’ve worked out the wildlife riffle the bins at night as I ended up putting the same rubbish back in the bin the following morning
Good spot, great sleep! Train and traffic are really quiet, for being in the city it's a great place to rest for the night. Would definitely recommend!
Nuit calme, peu de passage sur la route, le train s'arrête entre 22h et 6h mais ne gêne pas pour dormir de toute façon. Vu sur la mer après c'est la zone d'attente des cargos
