Parking by the ferry - Ferry Nab Car Park Has toilets, showers and wash facilities (all very clean) provided for the boats but accessible to all. Sign says no camping however there are lots that do without any problems.

Great spot in the ferry car park! If you turn right as you drive in you will see spots made for campers. Stayed here last Saturday night and had a great sleep. There were about 4-5 other campers here too. You can walk into Bowness along a path and there is a pub (The Boathouse) just behind the car park which we had dinner at and would highly recommend. Toilets open 24h on the front and sinks with washing facilities further down by the ferry ticket office. Shower facilities currently closed due to covid.

Arrived in the area late on our first night. Parked up here and had no problems at all. Right next to the lake for a morning stroll and toilets where open all night. Couldn’t find the shower that some people have mentioned

Great spot within minutes from Lake Windemere. There are signs to say no overnight parking but if you use the parking meter during the day you can get 7 days parking. We were not bothered overnight and there was even someone parked with a small tent!

It was our first night of camper-vanning and it was absolutely perfect. Super quiet car park with all night loos. plenty of space - we arrived at 8.30. There were a few other vans around so we felt safe. 2 minutes walk from the lake about about 15 mins into town for plenty of food options. what a spot. We'd come back!

The public toilets have reopened following a long closure. The showers and toilets for the boat mooring holders are locked and can only be accessed with a code. Quite rightly. the mooring holders pay alot of money for these facilities and are only available to them.mooring holders have been instructed to ensure they do not allow anyone else in, especially with the Covid situation.

Great car park with public toilets right on the lake. Only 10 mins walk into bowness along the lakeside path. It has many long bays to the right as you come in, I got my Lwb sprinter in with no issues. There were 6-7 other campers there when we arrived. I couldn't see anywhere on the signage that says no overnight parking.

Great and clean with public facilities pub close by,being spoilt by campers with awnings ,chairs, barbiing ,keeping a low key is the answer .

Très bon spot. Services et larges espaces, on n'est pas les uns sur les autres. Super pour passer la nuit. WC publics fermés mais à côté ceux de la capitainerie disposent en plus de douches et un robinet sous le porche. Un autre robinet proche buvette.

Great place close to.main town and pubs. lake view are great 5 min. walk. seems quiet at the evening. clean facilities included in price of.car park. well.worth it. be advised it's busy specially on the weekend so if with camper came early.

Very good amenities, very clean showers, toilets and pot washing sinks. we were not bothered by anyone. there were 3 other campers in the car park this night.
