boom is usually closed, drive be past many times so unless it's on your route, the chance it's open is very small.

What three words———-besotted , swims, twitches.

It’s a nice spot right by the river staying tonight 20/10/22. If it’s rained, use outside shoes it’s quite chalky, but a lovely spot.

Quiet spot with a nice walk by the water. Only downside, litter. Cleaned up.

Had a peaceful night, few dog walkers during the day and early morning, but no disruption overnight. Parked right at the end with a great view. Everybody very friendly...

Open again nice spot. Right next to dyke. Access on opposite bank for dog to take a dip. Two vans max tight access off rd also

Barrier was across preventing access. Shame

Parked for the day, but only because we we went into Downham Market for the evening (great Wetherspoons Pub there!) otherwise could easily have stayed the night. No barrier up, and no restrictions. Entrance is a tight turn (6.2m MH), and could only get in from before crossing bridge side, and since no other vehicles were there, it still was a tight squeeze to manoeuvre around. Pretty spot.

Stopped for the afternoon, barriers open. Great spot for a cuppa.

Was lovely and quiet when we arrived but this was about 8.30. Very quiet and peaceful to spend the night. Dog walkers started to come quite early around 6am. We moved to a spot down the road to have some breakfast and a coffee. No toilets or shops around.

Busy during the day (quiet at night). The swing gate on the riverside is used (limiting parking to 2 large vehicles). There are no facilities or nearby shops (its a dog drop spot).

C'est parfait pour une nuit au calme.

Quiet free parking for the night
