Ceux qui seraient tentés de visiter le viaduc de Millau trouveront un bon spot pour passer une nuit (ou deux) en plein centre du village de Verrières (1252O), à 15 km de Millau. Ce petit bourg de 35O habitants, situé sous un ouvrage d'art de l'autoroute, possède, sur l'une de ses places, une halle couverte sous laquelle on peut manger, attablé à l'abri d'éventuelles intempéries, et, éloignées de quelques mètres, des toilettes (propres et entretenues) avec un point d'eau potable libre d'accès... Il y a également - non négligeable - une aire de jeu pour les enfants (toboggan, balançoires, etc.).

Those who would be tempted to visit the viaduct of Millau will find a good spot to spend a night (or two) in the center of the village of Verrières (1252O), 15 km from Millau. This small village of 35O inhabitants, located under a work of art of the motorway, has, in one of its places, a covered hall under which one can eat, seated sheltered from possible bad weather, and, a few meters away, a toilet (clean and well-maintained) with a free drinking water point ... There is also - not negligible - a playground for children (slide, swings, etc.).

Ein sehr hübsches Dorf mit einem sehr kleinen Parkplatz, der nicht für Womos gedacht ist. Die Leute sprachen uns an, weil hier ständig Womos stehen u das nervt. Ich denke, dass man diesen Platz nicht nutzen sollte. Außerdem ist die Anfahrt sehr schmall, wenn man von Süden kommend die Ausfahrt 44.1 nimmt. Es geht ca. 10 km in Serpentinen bergab, die Autobahn ist hochoben zu sehen. Fazit: nicht zum übernachten geeignet
