Moved on by a council ranger. Very polite and said they were clamping down on overnight parking here, and patrol it daily. Wouldn’t risk it, especially not being with your vehicle when they pass through. He gave us good advice on where else to park.
great spot, camped for 2 nights down by the loch even though the sign says no overnight, we chanced it and got away with it. beautiful spot though so if u want to take the chance, that’s up to you.
As per previous comment I planned to stay there in 2021 and the sign said no overnight parking so didn’t take the chance - my plan was to visit the seafood cafe down the road as they were full but managed to get in however I’m told this year (2022) they are not accepting motorhomes
Would be a lovely spot to stay the night, however wouldn't want to risk it with the 'no overnight parking sign'. You are also only supposed to park there for 3 hours so no good for all day either. I saw a council pickup truck drive past and it is the council that enforce the parking restrictions, so there is possibly a chance of a fine.
