What a wonderful set of people who run this pub! They let you park no hassle and are very welcoming, the pub is busy and full of locals with a great chicken curry! Flat parking bays and a warm welcome - could it get any better?!
Le parking avec le pub est gratuit, tant que vous y manger. J’ai acheté un repas pour deux avec une bouteille de vin pour £35. Les repas etait ok. J’ai demandé en avance si on pouvait passer le nuit dans le parking. Ils ont dit oui. A minuit il etait un peu bruyant mais pas mal. Situé juste à côté d’un canal ainsi bon pour se promener ou faire du vélo.
Had a lovely stay at the Pilot Inn very friendly staff, no meals on Mondays but only 20 minutes walk up the road had lovely meal and good beer, dog friendly areas in pub, good flat carpark for camper,
Das Parken mit der Kneipe ist kostenlos, solange Sie dort essen. Ich kaufte eine Mahlzeit für zwei mit einer Flasche Wein für 35 Pfund. Die Mahlzeiten waren in Ordnung. Ich fragte im Voraus, ob wir die Nacht auf dem Parkplatz verbringen könnten. Sie sagten ja. Um Mitternacht war es etwas laut, aber nicht schlecht. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben einem Kanal, der sich gut zum Wandern oder Radfahren eignet.
El aparcamiento en el pub es gratuito, siempre que coma allí. Compré una comida para dos con una botella de vino por 35 libras. Las comidas estaban bien. Pregunté con anticipación si podíamos pasar la noche en el estacionamiento. Dijeron que sí. A medianoche era un poco ruidoso pero no estaba mal. Situado justo al lado de un canal tan bueno para caminar o andar en bicicleta.
Il parcheggio con il pub è gratuito, finché mangi lì. Ho comprato un pasto per due con una bottiglia di vino per 35 sterline. I pasti erano ok. Ho chiesto in anticipo se potevamo passare la notte nel parcheggio. Hanno detto di sì. A mezzanotte era un po 'rumoroso ma non male. Situato proprio accanto a un canale così buono per passeggiate a piedi o in bicicletta.
Parkeren bij de pub is gratis, zolang je daar eet. Ik kocht een maaltijd voor twee met een fles wijn voor £ 35. De maaltijden waren oké. Ik vroeg van tevoren of we op de parkeerplaats mochten overnachten. Ze zeiden ja. Om middernacht was het een beetje luidruchtig maar niet slecht. Gelegen direct aan een gracht dus goed om te wandelen of fietsen.

Beesies29/07/2023A lovely pub with flat carpark for very quiet, overnight stay. We were one of 3 campervan/motorhomes overnight. Welcomed by bar staff, we checked it was OK and it was no problem at all. Had a gorgeous meal (vegan options), and a few drinks, in the garden with a view of the canal and boats. Horses munching in the field next to pub. Beautiful, we will definitely stay over and eat here again!

Sehr schöner und netter Pub. Gutes Essen. Guter Parkplatz. Hatten vorher angerufen und gefragt, ob es ok wäre den Tag über zu stehen und über die Nacht, wenn wir abends im Pub essen. Das war kein Problem.

This is a great stopover, great food, very welcoming. plenty of space and a nice cycle ride along the canal to Gloucester City centre.
phillee13/02/2023Phoned ahead and have been made very welcome. Great food and drink at reasonable prices. Flat car-park with spaces next to a field. Feels like it’s in the country, but just off the motorway. Good garden, canal walk into Gloucester. The perfect pub stop-over. Thank you.

Stayed in the carpark overnight and a lovely meal in the pub. Dogs allowed in pub. Live band on the Saturday night. Landlady and staff were very helpful and cheerful. Canal is right next door so possible to walk or cycle into town but being winter and raining we opted for a taxi. £12. No facilities except pub toilets.

We often stay here, stayed again last night always a warm welcome. Food at good prices (steak was great). A quiet nights sleep. A flat car park next to the canal. This morning all we could hear were the horses munching in the field next to us.

Great spot for an overnight stop, lovely canal walks next to the pub. Spaces are normal car size so probably not suitable for longer vehicles. We parked on a Friday so car park was busy but pub was welcoming and food was great. All they asked is that we parked in the far corner which was fine by us, there are lights in the car park so very safe and it was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night.
