Place de parking donnant sur Macrahanish Bay. À côté de la route tranquille juste à l'extérieur du village sur la route de l'observatoire de la faune. Colonie de phoques sur la plage à côté du site, emplacement magnifique avec des couchers de soleil fantastiques.

Parkplatz mit Blick auf die Bucht von Macrahanish. Neben der ruhigen Straße etwas außerhalb des Dorfes an der Straße zur Wildbeobachtungsstation. Robbenkolonie am Strand neben dem Platz, wunderschöne Lage mit traumhaften Sonnenuntergängen.

kimjwhitehead09/03/2024Quiet spot. Managed to get the motorhome (7m) on sideways. Seals swimming and on the rocks. Public toilets further down the road with an honesty box. Worth the detour from Campbeltown.

Fabulous. We shared the space with two vehicles. As the sun set, seals came ashore to sleep on the rocks - just 50…100 meters away from us. A wonderful place. Whoever uses it: “Always leave it nicer!!!” - so that the space is preserved.

An amazing park up, space for 1 van comfortably, awesome views, seals when we arrived, an otter swimming about too. Locals seem friendly enough, make sure to leave no trace.

Talked to a local, 1 van max. And tuck yourself in to the seaside, passing by is used for trucks going to the salmon farm and they need space.

Stunning spot. Sat here currently next to one other van, there's only room for two here though so we got very lucky! We've already seen seals, an otter and plenty of sea birds. Truly magical! Looking forward to seeing the wildlife that shows up tomorrow. Also have strong 4G on Tesco, enough to work online with video calls. Ideal for me!
bidonlbre18/07/2023Arrived late due to a diverted route. Feared to be forced to go to huge Holliday Area next to the golf course. And what? The spot is free, just for us! Sea birds and the view across the Ocean welcome us for a night or two. Springbank Distillery tomorrow morning by bicycle. And now, a dram to celebrate the fantastic conclusion of today!

Spent Good Friday here. Beautifully sunny evening with five seals basking on the rocks just below us. One other van. Very quiet.

Wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht, am morgen lagen 3 Robben auf den Steinen vor uns und wir beobachteten uns gegenseitig. Sehr empfehlenswerter Ort, es passen locker 2 Camper hin.

Great spot, found on this app. Had the space to ourselves but would fit 2 vans. Amazing views right out to sea and seal company in the morning. Wish we’d stayed 2 nights here instead of just 1.

After looking at several other options in this area this was by far the best. There don't seem to be many parkups on this peninsula. Its on the side of the road but the road is pretty quiet and we are sitting here in the van watching seals in the sea right in front of us.

I’d say room for 2 small vans if people are friendly. There was a white VW parked when we arrived. Turns out the guys leave it there for the summer and live in the town. Super quiet and seals too! Not midges. Beautiful place suggest one night and move on to share the joy of it. Rich and Julia

Stunning sunset. Please park right into the lay-by and not in the passing place 50 yds on. The locals get upset, justly so.

Lovely spot, room for 3 small vans. Great views and sunsets easy walk to the beach. Seals everywhere. No facilities.

J'ai dormi sur place sans problème la police a passé et n'a rien dit pour le stationnement seul bémol l'odeur de la mer qui ne bouge pas sinon tranquille

Yes this is a lovely place to park I have been parking here for 25 years but please park facing in rather than side on. The locals use this space too as they like to see the seals as well. We don't want to cause any I'll feeling towards our hobby.
