Gebührenpflichtiger Parkplatz am Straßenrand mit schöner Aussicht. Mülleimer sind vorhanden. Zweckmäßig für eine Nacht. Fußläufig ist der Ort Stromeferry über die Straße zu erreichen, keine Geschäfte in der Nähe.

Parking mis à la disposition des campers contre environ 7€. calme la nuit mais dès 7 heures du matin beaucoup de passage sur la route attenante…

Great little stop over, road noise quiet after dark, great views to wake up to. 4 other vans there same night as us and plenty of space.

The stopover is fantastic BUT only 4 Campervan/Motorhomes are allowed to stay and last night 8 stayed overnight. This is far too many for the parking area and we ended up being squashed in next to each. Very disappointing that people can’t accept what the Forestry people say in allowing stopovers. Abuse it and lose it!

Schöner Ausblick, flach und relativ ruhig trotz naher Straße.

Ça dépanne pour une nuit. Le terrain n'est pas très plat et il y a un peu de circulation. Il y a une poubelle.

Übernachtung am 23.10.: Ordentlicher Parkplatz, allerdings direkt an der Straße. Diese Nacht war ok vom Lärm. Sehr schöner Blick auf Loch Carron. Kein WC, keine Entsorgung.

Stayed here for 1 night and except for 1 car driving past beeping its horn at about 11pm, it was very peaceful with a beautiful view of the Loch. No facilities other than a bin so for self contained vans only.

Easy to park road was not nosey

Nice spot back off the road. Hard standing. Part of forestry scheme. We had a quiet night. Minimal road traffic in the morning.

Einerseits gut, dass die Forstverwaltung diesen schönen Parkplatz zum Übernachten freigibt (Danke) , andererseits würden wir hier nicht mehr stehen wollen. Die angrenzende Straße ist relativ stark befahren. Die vielen Wohnmobile, bei uns waren es 7, statt der erlaubten 4, verstellen den Auto- und Bustouristen den Blick. Es kommt zu Drängeleien. Eine unschöne Situation, die uns peinlich war.

Stayed there and parked around 6pm. Not sure what difference it makes what direction your car faces. But rules :-). Anyway had some busses until 7 but then it was quite and we did also not notice traffic at night. Thanks to the council to privy this opportunity.

OMG what a shocking experience with a little holler from the Commission. Everyone had followed the signs and reversed along the fence however everyone was instructed to change to park rose to fence to allow 4 meters & to not block the view for coaches. Campers were fine doing this but motorhomes would block the entry and exit. Drive 3 miles to Strathcarron Hotel, m/homes £5 pppn and 24 hr toilet

I stayed here a couple of years back and at the time it was unrestricted lay-by. Now forestry have. put regulations in place that no one seems to follow. I was third person to arrive so parked no problems. others coming after weren't so lucky because there was a 5ton 4x4 that took up 2 spaces and wasn't parked very considerately.

Mooie plaats voor 1 overnachting, alleen jammer dat er maar 4 campers mogen staan . Wij waren nummer 3 en later kwamen er nog 3 bij , waarvan er 1 uitgebreid ging bbq. Terwijl dit niet is toegestaan. Er wordt gecontroleerd dus ik ben benieuwd. Wel veel last van midges die door de kleinste kieren komen

We kwamen hier terecht doordat er niet veel anders in de buurt was. Het is oké voor een nachtje, niet ideaal omdat het langs een drukke weg ligt. Pluspunt, we waren er niet alleen waardoor we een beter gevoel hadden. Mooi uitzicht over het meer tussen de bomen door.

Main parking is overlooking Loch Carron but there are spaces for 3 more campervans directly on opposite side of road. We're here tonight v quiet, no facilities but good for one night as not a lot else around.

As stated, free Forestry Commission motorhome scheme. 1 night permitted, must have own facilities. Police did a check late evening, which was good to see as so many spots are being abused. Close to the road so a little noisy, but traffic is light. Grateful for this spot as there's not much else around here!

Layby off the road. Allows 4 Self contained MH/Campervans free overnight till Oct as a trail for forestry. Good 4G signal and stunning view. Just arrived so can't comment on any overnight noise but roads not to busy.

Very quiet spot for the evening, beautiful place to watch the sun setting. Good, solid, flat parking place with some picnic benches. Not much road noise either.

Nice view through the trees. No toilet facilities. Midgies weren’t bad. However there is definitely a number of locals coming past and deliberately tooting their horns early AM.

Wide lay-by on quite a busy road (daytime), bit dusty and the inevitable rubbish. Good news though, the views are remarkable and it’s pretty flat.

Lovely little spot. Can fit about 5 campers in comfortably. Picnic tables available. Highly recommend the little walk down to Stromeferry, it's a tiny little village - but its beautiful! Some road noise, but got a decent nights sleep.

Plenty of space for 5 or more vans. Far enough away from the road plus great views!

Parking area off the side of a main road. We were there with 2 other campervans, felt safe. No facilities. Yes there is traffic passing and the noises of vehicles can be heard, but this did not bother us. No midges in October.

Quiet night with several other motorhome on 20th Sept 2020. Only bad point was of a courier driver from Sky Express who came into parking area at 7:15 and deliberately had radio on loud for 20 mins then drove off sounding his horn. I contacted Sky Express and a guy there said this driver had been driven off the road recently by a motorhome and incurred over £600 in repairs, and this was the reason why he did this!! He also said he wished all motorhome drivers would go back home, no doubt this driver doing this in other areas, that said it is a great place to stop over and the actions of 1 courier driver does not spoil it, Great spot.

Endroit avec une superbe vue, nous y sommes pas restés car il pleuvait trop et donc assez venteux, passage de voiture régulièrement

Très calme, superbe vue sur le Loch. Pas de service, ni poubelle.
