We stayed here for 3 nights over a weekend, it’s flat, quiet and in walking distance to town (20 mins ) as a public toilet ( 10 min open 7am to 7 pm. The gates state they are locked at 9pm but they never moved when we were there, but even if they did there is pedestrian access. A great spot will come back

Perfect quiet spot to spend the night dor only 3£, only 10 minutes walk away from the cathedral. We were the only camper and did not encounter any problema at all. Very recommendable!

We had a fairly sleepless night here on the 22nd July. At around 4 in the morning we were woken by a large bang, followed by someone trying to open all our doors and banging on the windows. This lasted for around 25 minutes. In the morning we realised what the large bang was, the man had ripped our number plate off the back of our van which would of taken considerable force.

Fine place to stay overnight; quiet and several campers around. Gates said they would shut after 9 but they were open all night. be aware if going during the day that many Google reviews say that they charge parking from the moment you drive into the car park- not when you buy your ticket. Many seem to have been caught out that way.

Beware of the Toothless, mentally challenged, lady , who likes to pretend that she is a parking Warden. I parked my 8 mtr MH in the Coach Space and was told off by her

Arrived at 11.30 with no issues - it’s now £5.50 to park for the day though so expensive if you want to do more than the night.

Great location just a few minutes walk from Exeter Quay and not much further to the city centre. Really quiet and plenty of space. 7 or 8 other campers. Free from 6pm-8am. Will definitely be using this again.

£5 for 24hrs other campers here, bins close by, toilet 5 mins walk along the water open 7am-7pm, 20 mins walk to the high street, quiet even with our poptop, activity about 7:30am but not a lot. Good place to stay to visit the centre, shop 5 mins walk. It’s just a large car park but had a goodnight sleep.

A reasonable spot and the only one in the city. Height barrier but was open when we came. Locked at 9pm so the sign says. Free after 6pm. Quiet. Other campers here. Plenty of space.

Stayed last night, it was flat, quiet, and a short (15mins) stroll into town. There is a 2m height gate but it wasn’t shut when we arrived (1930) or left (0800).

Very good spot this. Clean quite and very central. Lovely walk on river close to lots of eating and drinking places.

  • 5/5

Great spot right in the middle if exeter, its now 3.50 for 24hr.

  • 5/5

Nice quiet stay. Day time toilets about a 5 min walk across the river into Exeter

Simpler Parkplatz für Autos und Busse. Nur 3£ für 24 h. Für einen Samstagabend sehr ruhig. Wetter war allerdings auch schlecht. Busverbindung in die Innenstadt (nicht sonntags!). Netter Spaziergang zum Hafen möglich.

Haven Banks Car Park - follow the signs for "long stay". Cheap and with a lot of space, but we ran into trouble finding the right size pitch, since the small ones are for normal cars and a man came out (from where?) and told us the large ones were only for coaches.

6pm to 8am is free, overnight allowable, plenty of space, walk to city, restaurants close by, pretty riverside areas, lovely walking/biking areas. Would recommend.
