Joli petit coin avec vue sur le Tor, pas de toilette mais le pub Apple Tree et le magasin de la ferme sont à 500 mètres

Nice little lay-by with views of the Tor... no toilets but the Apple Tree pub and farm shop is 500 yards away

Nette kleine Ecke mit Blick auf das Tor, keine Toilette aber die Apfelbaumkneipe und der Hofladen sind 500 Meter entfernt

Great spot, more like a service road, quiet after around 10pm

I had a quiet night here with no other vehicles parking. There was some road noise, which was not intrusive. It's not a very busy road at night in the winter. Level parking and screened from the road by trees. 2 bars of 4g on ee allowed me to watch TV on my tablet. A perfect stopover on my tour.

Noisy traffic but big lay-by behind some trees. Felt safe.

  • 3/5

We felt safe which is a plus BUT this layby is VERY busy. Cars and trucks in and out all night long. Probably our worst nights sleep since living in a van.

  • 4/5

Basic layby. As others have said, its big enough for a few vans. one other here with us last night. Not sure why people complain about noise here, traffic is there of course, its a layby! But its fairly quite as the layby is separated from the road by trees. Found it very useful for visiting Glastonbury and would recommend. Only thing it has to offer is a bin

Great spot for the night. 6 Vans and Campers were there with us. There is a bin.

  • 3/5

OK for one night. almost flat. some traffic evening and morning. if you're a light sleeper then probably need somewhere else away from road. but if traffic doesn't bother you, the good place to stay.

  • 4/5

Just a large lay-by, but traffic noise ok after 10:30pm. room for 6/7 campers. Great spot for an overnight stay within easy travelling distance of all local beauty spots/camping grounds. We stopped here for the night as everywhere was booked up. would stop again.

Stayed here last night, yes the road can be pretty noisy but by about 11pm just the odd vehicle passing. Didn't get disturbed. Would use again :) Please take your rubbish home as always.

Decent stop if you don’t want to be in Glastonbury but want to be nearby. Yes - noise from the road (obviously), but quiet during the night. Wasn’t by any means impossible to sleep and I am quite a light sleeper. Only a HGV in the lay-by with me.

  • 3/5

A bit of noise til 11pm then ok, rubbish dumped in layby which is sad.

Stayed here a few nights ago and found it pretty unpleasant. It’s very close to the road so impossible to sleep here without earplugs. Also had quite a lot of movement from passing cars on the motorway. Wasn’t my favourite and had a poor night’s sleep here.

I have just arrived and there are bollards blocking the road. Presumably because of the festival!

Nothing there but nice and quiet and an easy place to just pull up and sleep. Not far from Glasto - 7 minute drive.
