another layby little bit closer to Newby Bridge right next to gummers how carpark, flat spot at the top and beautiful view in the morning.pretty quite night with a few cars. will definitely stay here again!

sambo0108/05/2022Quiet. Left at 7am and didn’t see anyone. Not perfectly flat but didn’t need to use ramps. 2 min drive from main national trust car park next to the lake.

As described, a lay by with space for 1-2 vans. very quiet road overnight, no problems

Nice and secluded, stayed one night and had no trouble. Close to Gummers How walk

Quite and tranquil. Surrounded by nature. Very few cars, some cyclists. We had to change a tyre here and it was flat enough to it, although gravel wasn’t pleasant.
