Small section allocated to oversized (over 4.8m) vehicles - VERY pricey compared to car rate. It’s almost as if they don’t want you to park there at all. Day time only.

  • 1/5

parking maters don't work.. caused a lot of problems it's free 6pm till 8am. there were campers there but it says no sleeping so we stayed in the campsite Down the road....

  • 1/5

    no overnight sleeping allowed.

  • 3/5

campers larger than 4.8m forbidden, and can't stay past 10pm. nice stop over though with good views to walk around

  • 3/5

Charges are now £1 per hour. No motor homes over 4.8m or allowed after 10pm. Gonna cook some food and see what happens. May move on after 10 and find somewhere free and a bit more secluded. Update: we moved on from here. Def not a place to stay overnight any more. I’d avoid. There are much better places to park - we found one overlooking Weymouth by the prison. It was free and what a view.

Parking is tight and poorly laid out so only 2 or 3 of 8 spaces are usable at any time. Motorhomes 4.8-6 meters forced to pay for 2 hours (£3.50) but cars & vans less than 4.8m can pay for 30 mins or an hour at cheaper rates. Felt ripped off. Portland Bill is beautiful if you love sea views & the coast path passes thru so may be worth it to some. Café and pub adjacent. Pub has its own car park.

  • 3/5

Good that there are purpose made motorhome parking bays (daytime only) but they were designed badly and are too short and too tight

  • 5/5

Great park up,£8 for 24hrs,toilets shut at 9pm and reopen at 9am.Great views and no height restrictions, felt very safe.

  • 4/5

Lovely secluded car park, decent toilet facilities, the sound of waves and a beautiful canopy of stars. One or two boy racers came by but they sharp got bored.

We we’re going to stay at this car park , but we stayed in the pub car park a few yards away for £10 fabulous view in the morning over the sea ,

Very quiet, we found a lot of random cars come and go between 7-9 but was a Friday night and they wasn’t loud at all. Sign states no overnight sleeping so could possibly get a fine but read other reviews and took the risk, Other campers/motorhomes also began to arrive before dark so felt at ease. Would give 5* if wasn’t for risk of fine.

  • 4/5

Says no sleeping but we weren't disturbed along with a number of other campers. great spot for exploring the coast and jumping in the sea! toilets clean. £8 for 24 hours parking.

  • 4/5

Many campers parking overnight with a paid ticket. 4 stars as there is a risk of getting a parking ticket due to “no sleeping” warning

  • 5/5

Stayed twice now overnight. No problems. Quiet at night and a really nice place to watch the sun go down on the cliffs.

Campervans <7m, not many spaces cater from anything longer than a MWB, you can park over 2 but then you need to pay for two spaces. We parked up for 2 nights, always had a valid ticket so didn’t get bothered by the attendant. This is a very popular spot, walkers, motorbikes, cars so not tranquil till later on. WC’s seem open apart from when being cleaned. No fresh water available. Large bin in car park near coaches so can get rid of rubbish - amazed at how much litter flying around... We got lucky and had great weather. The pulpit inn was ok for a drink. Portland is very popular and really needs more options for campers - perhaps that’s why they don’t seem too bothered by cans in the 24hr parking. Cost £8 for 24hrs parking, blue badge holders get an extra hour, not free parking (price for one space).

Beautiful location. Car park not for big motorhomes. We parked on bus parking.

  • 4/5

Beautiful location only slightly spoilt by hooligans looming around doing doughnuts in their hot hatchbacks.... £8 for 24 hours, although it does say no overnight sleeping. We stayed 8/7/19 with no problems at all. Lighthouse and Milky Way were beautiful.

  • 5/5

Brilliant spot, toilets are not 24h they close around 6-8ish.

  • 4/5

Very big parking lot, where overnight parking is allowed and it’s easy to get a spot. 8£/24h. Toilets. Nice views, but not the best you will find while travelling England!;)

  • 4/5

It’s a big parking lot where overnight parking is allowed. 8pounds/24h. Nice views, though not the nicest you will find when travelling England!;)

Traumhafte kulisse zum Übernachten. mit uns noch ein weiteres WoMo da, alles ruhig, nur das wellenrauschen :)

  • 3/5

Parking restrictions unclear : mobile homes allowed, 24 hour ticket to be issued (8 Pound), but no overnight sleeping at the same time. We stayed and nobody bothered.

  • 4/5

Très grand parking, beaucoup plus de places qu'indiqué dans le commentaire.
