Parking lot day/night

Archea Olimpia, Στεφανοπούλου

Parking close to the archaeological site of Olympia. There is a sign prohibiting camping so possible by camper but without unpacking. We spent 2 days and 1 night (Saturday and Sunday) without any problem. March 3 and 4, 2018, many restaurants at 100 meters

Wir waren die Ausgrabungen anschauen. Es macht den Anschein, dass die Leute keine Übernachtungen auf diesem Parkplatz schätzen. Wir wurden mehrfach angewiesen einen Campingplatz aufzusuchen. Aus diesem Grund sind wir weiter gefahren!

Sadly the locals seem to like to throw oranges at vans parking here. Shame as off season it is a perfect spot and we had spent money in the town.

Très bien pour visiter le site archéologique. Nous y sommes restés dormir. Pour nous sans soucis au calme. C'est vrai que nous avions un voisin camping-cariste à côté de nous qui a reçu plusieurs oranges dans la soirée sur son véhicule...A voir sinon se mettre sur le parking plus haut vers le musée des Oliviers.

Good place for day parking while visiting the sites. The restaurant where we had lunch warned us about staying overnight because of problems with youths throwing things at the van. There were certainly a lot of damaged oranges lying on the ground. We went back up to the open air theatre where we had spent the previous night.

Wir sind zwar nicht über Nacht geblieben, aber zum Besichtigen von der historischen Stätte perfekt - mit Schatten.

Je confirme une pluie d’orange verte en mode mitraillette donc à éviter la nuit seul avantage une bonne odeur parfumée. Nous avons coursé l’ennemi sans succès et leur avons épargné du presse agrume. Un gars très sympathique nous a conduit sur un parking plus calme en dehors de la ville, 2 km plus loin sur la route de Pyrgos

Sehr guter Parkplatz zur Besichtigung der historischen Stätten. Trotz Bestätigung eines Kellners der anliegenden Gaststätte das wir hier problemlos nächtigen können , wurden wir in der Nacht von Jugendlichen vertrieben. Versuchter Raddiebstahl vom Womo, Knallkörper wurde abgeschossen.

Parked here for the day while visiting the site and museums. It's next to where the coaches park so felt safe as the coach drivers hang around. Didn't stay the night due to comments about youths causing trouble, which is a shame for the town.

Parfait pour la journée. Mais comment mettre plus d'1 étoile lorsqu'on se fait bombarder d'oranges à 2h du matin par des jeunes en mobylettes. Nous sommes partis en pleine nuit et nous nous sommes fait poursuivre par ces mêmes jeunes. Nous étions un samedi soir, peut-être que ce genre d'incident n'arrive pas en semaine

Platz strahlt Ruhe aus - leider erlebten wir sie nicht. Am späten Nachmittag war der Parkplatz ein Treffpunkt von Jugendlichen, später von jungen Autofahrern, die Musik hörten. Als sich alle verzogen haben, gab es (während der Woche!) Partyklänge aus einer der nahen Gaststätten. Schade.

Great flat free carpark only 10 mins walk to the Olympic site. parked only during the day. nice town with nice shops, restaurants, bank and pharmacy. clean toilets 5 mins walk.

Ideal stop for visiting the ancient site and museums. We stayed two nights Thursday and Friday. Thursday night peaceful and quiet but Friday at midnight youths threw oranges and fireworks at the van.

Parking calme et plat, idéalement situé près des musées et site archéologique. Commerces à proximité. La prise dans le coffret électrique est un petit bonus que nous avons apprécié le temps d’une soirée sans problème!

Parking du bas, super calme en basse saison, nous n'avons vue personne. Très proche du site archéologique. Aller en ville au restaurant Pheidias super bon, pas cher et le restaurateur "donne" et vent oranges, clémentines du jardin et huile d'olive maison. Nous avons vue que le tableau électrique du parking est ouvert et qu'il y a une prise peut être possible de se brancher quand il n'y a personne.

Visited on 08/10/18. arrived at 12.30 , there were 15 Coaches parked on the bus parking, we nearly missed the entrance to the car parking area. wait until 15.00 and you'll miss all the crowds to visit the musuem. did not stay for night.

Parken am Tag für Besichtigung ok und kostenlos, Platz für 6,36m Kastenwagen. Viel Kommen und Gehen, auch durch Reisebusse oberhalb des Parkplatzes. Es gibt ein Schild mit Campingverbot.

Vraiment bien et à côté d'un champ donc plutôt calme et pas de circulation. Assez plat, spacieux, pas mal de places même en arrivant un samedi à 11h. Site et musée à voir (mais équipez vous d'un plan ou guide car rien n'est fourni, pas même une petite carte, histoire de se repérer) !

Bon parking pour rester une nuit ou 2 hors saison. Visite du musée et du site archéologique juste à côté et commerces à proximité
