beautiful area to park. but be careful. You will be risking a ticket if you stay overnight. but we'll be worth the stop. signs for no parking at the start of the road near the ferry. and same opposite end of the road. nothing in-between 9pm to 6am. I have had a ticket here, beautiful walks along what are some of the best beaches in the UK.

I don’t understand why there seem to have been so many fines imposed here. I drove along this road today but saw no signs saying no parking overnight

A lovely place to park, and super close to the beach. However woke up to a £70 fine, which is reduced to £35 if paid within 14days. All the campers have one along this stretch. Seems a little harsh as no one is doing any harm.

Beautiful for day and evening beach access but a 5am parking ticket was a bit annoying. There were loads of vans parked up with tickets when I got up.

There is parking either side of ferry road on the road up to the chain ferry entrance. I managed to stay here overnight no problems. Lots of campers doted along the road. Easy access to the beach.

Parking by the chain ferry is £10 per day for campervans. There are toilets here. Lots of campers parked by the side of the road before the ferry, I arrived early so I guess they had been there overnight. It is national Trust land, the ticket machine for getting your National Trust membership free ticket was out of use.

Parking restrictions are from midnight until 6am. You can park for free in the day with no issues. But starsky and hutch appear early in the morning to issue tickets at a cost of £70 but paid within 24 days goes down to £35. It's a shame as no hrms being done. they should put a parking meter in place and charge £5 per night. Extra money for the national trust. Everyone wins this way

I've used Ferry Road a few times, but be aware that fines were given out in August this year on the BH, so choose your times carefully, normally ok though.
