Gut für den Tag/Abend - Nachts verboten. Schöne Wanderung zum Aussichtspunkt ( ca. 30 Minuten) mit Blick über die Mündung.

Great spot for walking but there seems to be new signs that have been put up saying no overnight sleeping you can stay there until 11pm shame, but we stayed there for the day and then stayed in a lay by 3 miles up the road no signs.

Great spot just outside the town centre. Nice view over the estuary and lovely (but steep) walk on the lay-by side with stream. Pretty flat and there is a bin. Three other vans easily sharing the space tonight

A decent spot not too far from the town. I slept soundly and had a great view to wake up to.

We intended to stop for the night but just as we were relaxing after dinner we heard an almighty bang. A tractor towing a trailer came down the hill and overturned crashing into us. The edge of the trailer came through the passenger door missing my wife by inches. We are not sure yet if our motorhome is a right off. So beware!!

Great stop over for the night , we spent the day in Barmouth then ended up here for-the night, nice picnic table and a nice walk to the summit, and lovely views over estuary..10 mins walk up and over a hill to get into Barmouth. No problems.

Perfect lay-by stop over, lovely scenery, estuary one side, waterfall walk on the other. There’s a bit of road noise in the day but really quiet at night. Ten minute walk into picturesque Barmouth and to the beach. Bridge walk over the water to Fairbourne. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for one night. Great views over the estuary and only a short walk in to Barmouth itself. You can do the Panorama Walk direct from the lay-by which gives fantastic views of the estuary, Cadair Idris and surrounding areas.

stayed here over night , plenty of room in this lay-by, along with some nice views looking over the water, and it’s around about a ten minute walk into barmouth.

Left vehicle here for the night whilst we camped in the mountains. It was still there the next day. We arrived at 9.30am on a Saturday and there was ample space.

Great stopover just ten minutes walk from Barmouth. Quiet road at night and fairly flat. Nice view of the estuary- will stop here again

Great stopping place just out of town, great views and a nice relaxing place, all locals great with a hello, if you like fishing there is a nice harbor wall to fish from

stayed here last night! A beautiful stopover. gorgeous view over the estuary and the bridge. And then a lovely forest walk to take the dog with a stream and a couple of picnic tables. Nice to fall asleep listening to the stream. That nice in fact we all slept from 9.15 until 7.30!!

Lay-by sat back from the road. Quiet after 10pm. Good 4G signal. Flat. Friendly locals. No facilities. Would recommend.

Lovely views and quiet after 9pm. had a good night sleep. few other vans here. ideal for a stopover in-between travelling .

Good little spot not mega noise from the very close road still had a decent nights sleep. Beautiful view across the road. You really can’t complain to parking the night somewhere for free

Stayed here for 2 night last week and was perfect. Little bit of noise from the road but didn't bother us at all. Short walk to town and very nice walk into the hills behind. Great little place. Great Internet connection as well.

Great place to stop over, the road was relatively quiet but it was just after lockdown. Bin for rubbish, good walk up through the woods and a view point. About 10 minutes walk into Barmouth. We had fish and chips from the Harbour fish and chips about 10 minutes walk and they were amazing!

Access to a nice waterfall walk from the lay by. Walking distance to village centre and beach. Great view of the bridge. The main road was quiet during the night.

We stopped here felt we were on display to everyone going in and out of the town. ended up going to a campsite that night instead.

I always use this stop, when in the area. Room for 3 or 4 campers. No facilities, it is just a parking layby but road traffic virtually none between 11pm and 8 am. Even outside of these times, traffic noise is very low. So, always a peaceful night here.

Great little stop just outside of the town (about a 10 min walk into a hidden gem at Barmouth) amazing views. not much noise at night but fairly busy during the day. a good stop for overnight.
