Great, peaceful place right on the mirador with spectacular views at the side of a small village. As it is on a hill top and at 1300m altitude, it can get very windy at times. There was a traveling fruit and vegetables market on Saturday (operating from the lorry) on the main road at around 1PM.

From the main road you turn into the Calle escualas (right next to the jamones Juviles). It's a great place, we spent a quiet night here. You can get basics in the Tienda down the road. The walk to the 'fuerte' is quiet strenuous...We were here with 4 other camping-cars. Think you should be respectful to the local people and not walk around in your underwear....

Very quiet night, fantastic roads leading to it and spectacular views and a fresh water tap. Thank you to the town for providing such an area!

Stayed 1 Dec. Open ground on view point. Follow signs for view point. Watch out for glass on road, looks like streetlight glass is falling out and smashing on road, we swept it up, but more looked like they were about to go. Can walk out of bottom of town and up onto hill opposite for even better views of area. We were there on a weekend, no shop open in town. Didn't investigate the bars.

Excellent location for a night, lovely walks in the hills. Only one bar in town (that I could see). Magnificent views from the parking area. Watch out for the sheep and goats that appear from nowhere at dusk!

Endroit plat très calme, très belle vue. Les gens du village se promènent et ils parlent avec nous. Nous avons visité la fabrique de jambons dans le village situé à 100 m. Très bon accueil. Nous étions en camping-car et une remorque et l'accès a été facile.

Nice little village and a huge place behind it with nice views. Running water available :) Stayed one night and it was a very calm place.

Muy buen sitio para pernocta, vistas de la Sierra espectaculares, muy tranquilo, acceso un poco complicado pero merece la pena. Grifo de agua.

Lugar fantástico para dormir, aparcar, comer, etc. El lugar se llama "El mirador de la Cruz". Es muy tranquilo y vistas espectaculares. Difícilmente se puede encontrar un lugar mejor cerca de la carretera de la Alpujarra.

Pasamos una tarde y una noche en este lugar. Totalmente recomendable no tiene pérdida con la app. La quietud y las vistas inmejorables. Buenos jamones para comprar.

This is a lovely place, very peaceful and overlooks the town. our camping car is A class, 6.5 metres, 4500 KG.

Beautiful view (mirador). We slept alone. Quiet place with water. Garbage bins at 200 meters. With the gps, very easy to find.

Il faut bien chercher la pancarte indiquant le mirador. C'est une petite pancarte en bois sur la droite de la route en venant de Trevelez juste après la boutique de jambon (qui les vend beaucoup moins cher que ceux de Trevelez et qui sont aussi bons). Une fontaine et le centre sportif sont aussi indiqué dans la même direction. Suivre ensuite le gps Park4night. Très calme plat et de l'eau.
