Used to be a great stop. Spoiled by arseholes with generators.
Barrières de hauteur en cours d'installation sur le parking de droite (vue sur la mer) le 3 août 2021. Stationnement alternatif de l'autre côté de la route.
First car park on left is designated for Motorhomes as the signs at the entrance show. No height barrier on this car park but there is on the one across the road but no Motorhomes are allowed there. Lovely location right by the sea and designated cycle paths run alongside the car park into Largs and Ardrossan and beyond.
Auf dem rechten Parkplatz (Meerblick) werden Höhenbarrieren am 03.08.2021 installiert. Alternative Parkplätze auf der anderen Straßenseite.

Beastie6021/08/2022whilst Largs is a stunning place, the car park became rammed with lots of larger vehicles, we had to move to accommodate as they would have blocked us in. Its now 22.17pm and they are still arriving. Very noisy i wouldn’t recommend if you have children. Shame because the area is beautiful.

Fantastic stop over. No facilities just make sure you have enough water. Level pitches on a large car park. Fantastic walks along the front.

Really nice place, even shadow and a beautiful view. Free of charge and no facilities.

Great place on the shore. one area set aside for motorhomes, you could fit 12 or more vans. Very quiet and.mostly level. no facilities but 100m from Scott's restaurant that serves really good food and does morning service as well. We've stayed here twice this year and will come back.

Great spot right beside the beach just before you enter Largs yacht haven no barriers Foot path along beach front into Largs we have used it for a night stop before getting the ferry to arran

Stopped 24 Aug lower car park is still for use for motorhomes only top carpark has height barrier and no motorhome signs see new pictures stop is still allowed overnight not as new post

Thanks to campers dumping waste on the coastal protection rocks, a height barrier is going up in August 2021.

Quiet spot. Please don’t park in the front row as this can upset the locals who use this area, also please only stay one night. We don’t want this spot to have height barriers put up. 2 cafes here - good for breakfast and lunch.

This is the marina and was spectacular for views over the bay at sunset. Pencil beach for swimming. Quite a hike into town but I don’t mind that. Pubs not too far off if you wanted

Lovely quite car park by Largs Yacht Club. 3 other vans stayed overnight too, plenty of room for us all to spread out which was nice not to hear others TV’s or snoring lol, across the road is another free car park & there were 4 bigger motorhomes there. Nice grass verge to sit & watch some of the activities on the water. Lovely views. A friendly Robin kept visiting us & I’m sure would’ve eaten from our hands if we’d sat still long enough. Far enough from the road, so very little noise from the traffic, hardly any. Lots of bins around which is great. Will definitely use this place again.

Quiet night here with around 10 other van. Great views across the water and enjoyed watching the boats, swimmers, paddleboarders and kayakers with breakfast.

Unfortunately during the night boy racers were doing donuts in the car park beside us and racing back and forward on the road alongside, no problems during the day though, we stayed on a Friday night.

L'endroit paraît plutôt sympa. Malheureusement les allées et venues des jeunes en voiture et musique bruyante, nous ont fait abandonner les lieux vers 22h30 (un autre camping-car été déjà parti avant nous)

Stayed here for 2 nights great view, lovely walk into Largs for the best ice-cream at Nardini's. The post code is wrong, just follow the sign for Largs Yacht Haven.
