A very peaceful spot and a great starting point for walks into the Macin mountains. However, a rough gravel road for 1.5 miles to reach here and not very flat for camper vans.

Tornjak01/10/2022L'arrivée est un peu pénible sur les 2 derniers kilomètres de piste ondulée. Cependant le lieu est accessible à tous les gabarits. Peu d'endroits de niveau, sans ombre, aucun service, mais réception satellite et 4G optimale. Nous nous sommes installés non loin de là, sur le parking situé devant le monastère, les emplacements y sont plus agréables, de niveau et stabilisés. (45.25428°N 28.17816°E)

A good stop at the entrance to the national park and some great hikes. Do not take your vehicle past the barrier or into the trees where the benches are, the ranger will move you on & can fine you. Park in the open mostly level area above the monastery. It is possible to get water by asking at the monastery and there are bins on site. Busy with walkers at weekend but we stayed 3days no problems

In early september: Quite place, starting point for hiking routes in Muntii Macinului, almost flat. Not sure if there is shade for high vans.
JM-3807/07/2019Il y a de la place mais c'est un peu bosselé. Le container à ordure est plus que débordant. Le soir on est monté sur la colline à la croix (passages un peu raides) le point de vue est magnifique.

Ein schöner Ort am Waldrand, schöne Wanderung möglich. Leider war die Schranke zu und verschlossen, sodass wir nicht auf den eigentlichen Picknickplatz fahren konnten wir standen dann auf der Wiese davor, was gut und eben ging. - aber es gibt hier im Sommer sehr viele SCHNACKEN!!! Außerdem ist ein großer Container für Müll aufgestellt. im Umkreis von 20 Metern ist alles vermüllt.

Très joli bivouac à l'orée du parc national des monts Macin. Avec un camping-car on ne doit pas franchir la barrière. On peut rester dans la prairie avant le petit bois. Pour accéder traverser Macin, poursuivre la 22D vers le sud jusqu'à une station électrique. Prendre une grande piste à gauche qui mène à une carrière puis au monastère et au bivouac. Balades possibles dans le parc national.

Free wild Camp in Front of the small Mountains, nice walk up there, we found a barrier at the entrance but it wasn't closed...
