(BH16 5BH) Poole - Blandford Rd

Excellent parkup as always. I’ve been here before and is such a great spot. Very quiet 8 vans on here for the night. Lidl across road takeaways other side of park with very good food from the one I tried. Fine for day or night stopping.

Arrived here at 10pm and there was around 10 campervans/motorhomes parked up. Family of 3 felt safe and was mainly quiet all night with a few vans arriving till 1am.

This could be a good spot, I tried but had to move on as the carpark was quite busy until late. It was a Thursday night so I wasn't expecting so many visitors, youths in cars chatting, music etc. You might have better luck than me.

We arrived at 1:00am off the ferry! - one other VW camper! Perfect spot for a late night spot!

Super für eine Übernachtung! Lidl um die Ecke und spazieren kann man auch. Sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht mit noch 3 anderen Campervans auf der Durchreise und einer sehr netten Britin, die mit ihren 3 Hunden in ihrem Wohnmobil wohnt und öfter hier steht, allerdings nie am Wochenende, da sich dann viele Jugendliche hier treffen und auch öfter mal die Polizei vorbeischaut.

très bien quand on a pas de vélo attachés derriere. calme, plat, une bonne nuit passée en arrivant du ferry. des promeneurs a chien le matin.

Nie wieder! 2x um 2 Uhr nachts ging unsere Alarmanlage los wegen Störsender Meldung. Eine halbe Stunde später erwischten wir 2 Personen auf frischer Tat an unserem Fahrradträger. Wir konnten sie durch lautes Gebrüll verjagen sind dann aber direkt dort weggefahren. Die Camper neben uns hatten keine Fahrräder. Anscheinend sind die Diebe nur darauf aus. Nicht empfehlenswert!

Spent the night here with no issues very quiet location

Such a lovely peaceful spot - plenty of space - big thanks to the recreation ground for making it available - use what 3 words rather than postcode - it's so much easier to find - especially in the dark!!

Stopped here on the way to an early ferry and on the way back. Quite night. Really bright light on the building itself. Early morning dog walkers but no problem. Really useful for the ferry

Achtung Diebe , mir wurde heute Nacht das Fahrrad vom Träger gestohlen während wir im Auto schliefen.

Simple but just the ticket for an early ferry. Loads of space and not troubled.

Fantastic location to park up for a peaceful nights sleep. Thank you Poole FC and Poole RFC for permitting us to use you spacious car park. There is a Londis shop opposite with 24 hour off licence. Five vans here last night but plenty of room for more.

Great free stop only 2 miles from the ferry terminal. Admittedly it looks a little isolated but we stayed here with 4 other motorhome/campers, no problems. Outside of football its a dog walkers carpark and the locals come and go in the early evening and morning. The Lidl is only just up the block great for a top up on the way to the ferry. Its free !

Great spot in Poole. Next to recnd football ground no services no bins. Need to be clean and discreet for this not to get hight reststricions. Please be aware of residents around you

We hadden een super rustige en stille nacht. Uiteindelijk stonden we in totaal met zijn drieën. Bedankt dat dit mogelijk is. Behandel het met respect!

Attention si arrivée de nuit, il y a une pierre juste à l'entrée du chemin qui mène au parking (voir photo pour la largeur)

deux nuits sur ce parking, plat, calme et idéal en sortie ou avant le départ du Ferry.

Très bien quand on sort tard du bateau de nuit. Calme la nuit quelques promeneur de chien le latin. Je recommande et y reviendrai pour reprendre le bateau.

Guter Ort für eine Nacht, besonders wenn man zur Fähre weiter möchte. Der Parkplatz ist relativ groß, trotz einem Fußballspiel und einer weiteren Veranstaltung, haben wir gut gestanden und niemandem einen Parkplatz weggenommen. Netter Park, für Hundespaziergänge, direkt daneben.

Good spot before catching ferry

Great overnight once we had found it, as was taking us around the back on the road on the app, is actually Poole RFC not football, but it did what it said on the tin

Fantastically useful place to stay when catching an early ferry. It's great that a British car park hasn't been blocked to campervans. We'll done and thank you to Poole football club.

Sehr ruhiger, abgelegener Parkplatz bei einem Sportverein. Perfekt für eine Nacht. Morgens zwitschern die Vögel. Wir standen alleine hier. Morgens einige Spaziergänger.

Nice and quiet park up with lots of space, lots of vans overnight. Popular dog walking spot and access to a park to walk around. Pretty secluded and access down a bumpy one lane road

we stopped here after seeing the reviews online. nice peaceful and quiet excellent for the dog.

We spent 2 nights here. Quiet and shaded from the heat. Lovely big area to let the dog run and little playground for the kids

Great place to stay overnight,quiet and hassle free

ein wunderbarer Ort. sehr sauber, sicher. sehr freundlicher Hundebesitzer mit dem wir einen kleinen Schnack gehalten haben. Bitte sorgt dafür, dass es so bleibt. Es waren noch weitere Camper da und dadurch fühlten wir uns nicht einsam sondern total sicher. Eine Toilette gibt es nicht aber an der Hauptstraße ist eine Tankstelle 24/7 die eine saubere Toilette hat.

Good place for a night Lot of space and quiet at night.

Dank der App haben wir diesen Platz gefunden. Für eine Nacht mit unserem Womo. Ruhig zum schlafen, nette Einheimische, einige Hundebesitzer, 30min Fussläufig bis zum Wasser, abends ein paar Jugendliche…aber nichts wildes. Am nächsten morgen zur Fähre…5min mit dem Auto. Top!

I'm writing this as a local. We welcome friendly visitors to our area. I've met some fantastic people over the years. We don't however welcome those that empty their toilets in the bushes. Please don't do it. It's nasty and it's disrespectful. If the gentleman who was seen doing this this afternoon is reading this...shame on you.

Large flat rugby club/recreation ground car park. no signs or height restriction. It was quiet on the weeknight we stayed, one other van. no bins or any other facilities.

Grand parking au calme, dans un endroit très agréable, nous y avons très bien dormi. Supermarché à proximité. Je recommande !

Nachts ruhig. Morgens viele Autofahrer mit Hunden. Für eine Nacht super. Landschaftlich nicht so toll.

nice not to be bothered and feel welcome, can use toilets in morning if rugby club is open. nice view of sea and lots of dog walkers and kids playing rugby. nice spot for the night very peaceful

Spent the night very quiet but there was another camper and when he left he left rubbish please take it with you.

Spent a very quiet peaceful night here, nice walk too. Lads remember, leave no trace, there are enough places unavailable to us and this is a good spot.

Sunday Evening & out of the Rugby season so all’s quiet. Great for walking the dogs.

We stayed here last night and the sign at the entrance says Turlin Moor Recreation ground. Large free car park. 2 other motorhomes. Quiet. Apparently the clubs don’t mind you parking there overnight as long as you are at the other end away from the pavilion. Lovely walk along Lytchett Bay where we found a bird screen. We litter picked to say thank you for the free space.

Stayed overnight 24.05.21, all quiet, handy dog walking, only location we could find within quite a wide radius.

Nowhere near 48 keysworth rd. Its the other side of the playing field

Empty car park. slightly isolated but great space and walks around the fields and estuary. A couple of teenage cars late on but all fine. No facilities

Great spot super quiet and secluded, we were the only ones there!

Stayed last night 26/7/20, no issues great for walking the dogs. one other motorhome there, spoke to the locals and they have no issues as long as all rubbish is put in the bins. had a quiet nights sleep. if you walk to the main road and turn left 100 yards a cracking Indian takeaway ( abids). highly recommend.

Stayed overnight. One other van here. All quiet. Nice walk to a lake a stone's throw across football ground. Search for Poole Football and Rugby as postcode takes you to a residential road adjacent.

The below mentioned long term campers seem to have left. Really quiet at night, no trouble, very nice dog walking area with lots of nature etc and petrol station shop around the corner.

Don’t want to rain on your party or anything, but, yes this is a good place to sleep over. And yes there’s even some really nice walks around here. But. It looks as if the location is being taken advantage of and several “long term” campers seem to have taken up accomodation here. Wonder how long it will be before the place has restrictions placed on it. Until then. Ye, good place to spend a night

22/8/19 We stayed overnight at this site with four other Motorhomes. One was visited by police after we parked up but they did not come to us. The Motorhome that they visited stayed overnight too. In the morning we were disgusted to find that a fire had been lit in the middle of the carpark and there was a plastic bucket beside the fire. We wrote a note and attached it to the bucket saying that this behaviour was disgraceful and that it may result in Motorhomes not being allowed to stay and a height restriction bar being placed on the entrance. We left and discovered later that someone had attached the note to the rear of our Motorhome! So don’t be surprised to see a bar on the entrance if the Football Club takes action.

Super emplacement ,tranquille,aire jeux pour enfants,grande prairie pour promener nos amis les chiens et lac après le stade de rugby. Manque juste un point d'eau.

Good large car park - follow the signs for Turlin Moor recreation Ground/ Poole Rugby football Club. Stayed one night. Very quiet. Woke to bird song and sunshine.

Bon spot pour une arrivée tardive ou la veille d'un départ. Il y avait un entraînement mais les gens vident le lieu vers 20h. Nuit super calme et à l'arrière balade autour du lac. Je recommande
