Nice and easy to get here. £14 a night for MoHo’s, left in the honesty box. Fresh water but no ehu. Pub nearby - 15 min walk.

Great basic campsite and very quiet for a Friday night. Lovely views of the countryside.

Schöner Übernachtungsplatz. Kostet 12 Pfund für ein Wohnmobil. Ruhig.

If you want a field in a lake location with a local pub and shop - this ticks those boxes. Cycle route - about 24 miles around the lake. No EHU or toilets. Does have water and toilet waste drop. Honesty box payment. Phoned prior due to bank holiday weekend. Both fields open. Park up sensibly.

Great site, local village has shop and pub. The Elsan point is just by the gate to another field on the left when entering, basic but functional

Rutland Water Campsite 9 Lst a notte compreso carico e scarico. No elettricità! Avendo necessità di carico e scarico, per una notte, va bene. Sul lago Rutland Water, frequentato da velisti con parecchie roulotte stanziali. Si paga mettendo i soldi in una busta nella "onesty box" all'ingresso.

Brilliant location for walks round the lake - just leave your £12 in honesty box. Nice and quiet with fresh water available too.

great place to stop the season ticket holders around the edge are all friendly. I met John in one van and Allen next door to him. both really friendly and helpful. site is peaceful, level enough clean, bins elsan and grey dump and water available. no booking needed £12 per night for a motorhome. will definitely go again. and if your reading this John, thanks for the great tips on solar panels

Nice spot, friendly people. The spots around the edges are for regulars of the adjacent sailing club, at least on the weekends. Others park in the middle of the field, quite level for the most part. Fresh water and grey water disposal. Nice bike ride around the water, quite hilly.

No frills campsite. Don’t need to book. Has water and waste dump. Great place for stop over or fishing/ cycling Rutland. £12 per night for Motorhome. Honesty box or pay when he comes around.

Used this campsite for one night and it was perfect for what we needed. Water onsite. We stayed on the Saturday night and it was quite full. We paid £12 in the honesty box. Envelopes underneath.

Sept 2020 .. plenty of space in a flat field with water available. £10 per night put in an envelope in the honesty box. We stated 2 nights (the cycle around Rutland Water is about 28 miles and mostly off the road (do it anticlockwise so the pubs are near the end!). The site looked busier than it was as most caravans were not being used (maybe for weekend sailing club access?)

Nice reasonably flat field beside the sailing club. £10 per night in the honesty box or to the warden with no specific arrival or leaving time. Just off the route for cycling round the entire reservoir, about 20 minute walk to Normanton Church and 5 min walk to the lake shore. Had lovely couple of nights with a BBQ. Bins and water only, no other services.

  • 5/5

Great over night stop. ideal for a cycle around the huge Rutland Water. quiet at night and only £10. fresh water, but no other services. honestly box plus warden visits in the morning. perfect.

Arrived around 8pm in my large camper van and had plenty of space to choose from! It’s a small open field that could accommodate 40 odd caravans/campervans. We stayed the 1 night and dropped off £10 in the honesty box before leaving in the morning. There is also a great cafe just a mile up the road called The Waterside cafe perfect for breakfast!

Good for breaking a journey with an overnight stop as you can arrive and leave when you like. Very quiet. As noted, water is available and there is a bin but no hook-up or disposal point for grey water etc. Bring your own supplies and enjoy the tranquility, only 1 other person was there when we made a midweek stop in August. I suspect at the weekend it is busy with people using the adjacent sailing club.

!ZELTE VERBOTEN.

£9 for camper van, next to the sailing club. very quiet place.

    10 livres par 24h, un grand prés à 50 m du lac..
